Booking at S Hotel was a last minute decision I would not regret becuase aside from being near just walks away from the Cebu Provincial Capitol, which my conference was held, the staff were so helpful, friendly, and kind. The room was so clean, the bed was big, toilet was clean as well and it was cozy. Everything was great. They also allowed me to check-in early for free. It’s not very far from the malls, hospitals, church, and the south bus terminal in case you need to go somewhere else. I would really love to stay here again on my next visit and recommend this hotel to others who are looking for a budget-friendly yet nice hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cebu R Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and impeccable service. The lobby had a contemporary design, setting a welcoming tone for my stay. The location in Cebu City is ideal, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers.
To my delight, I was upgraded to a spacious suite featuring a luxurious bathtub. The room was elegantly decorated, combining modern amenities with a touch of local charm. The plush bedding and ample space provided a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The suite also included a well-equipped workspace, allowing me to catch up on some work while enjoying the comfort of my surroundings.

Brand new economical whimsical hotel that my children love right in the middle
Of the city. Have big indoor slide, giant tik tac to game, gym with new equipments, a basketball ring, a gallery, someToys available also. There’s a small pool inside the hotel, but since there’s a construction nearby, not to compromise safety, they’ve closed off the pool with the Citadines infinity pool as alternative. Famous Local Sunburst & a grocery & other interesting restaurants is conveniently beside the hotel. Queen room was small, but very clean & great interior. Water dispenser is available in the aisle & a pantry too, if you wanted to have a meal outside instead in the room. Rate of S$63 came w set breakfast for 2 that was prepped made to order at an open kitchen by very perky chefs. Washer/Dryer onsite too. Hammocks are also at guests’ disposal. Their dining area also are to note. We were attended to at the Front Dest by Jules, really friendly & accommodating guy that my kids weren’t shy talk to. And the place smells like bubblegum. 🥰 Be back soon with more family. Thanks, we loved our stay!

The hotel is very brand new, but a lot lacking of things needed in the room, no table or chair in the room, very small room and no head board for the bed every time you lean your back into the wall bed will move forward, no bidet in the bath room to clean, no kettle or coffee provided, 2 small bottle of water is provided. ac is working good not split type but still remote control, a bit noisy. I was inform when I check in that if you bring food from outside and eat it in the dining area you will be charge 250 peaos. staff is bery helpful. its cheap compare the other hotel. why

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location, while fairly central, was a bit challenging to find, especially for first-time visitors. Clearer directions or better signage would have helped.
One of the small but noticeable inconveniences was the absence of slippers in the room, which is something many travelers, including myself, often appreciate for comfort. Additionally, the noise from outside the hotel could be disturbing at times, especially at night, which affected the overall tranquility of the stay.
That said, the saving grace was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, always willing to assist with a smile. Despite the few drawbacks, their hospitality made a positive impact, making the overall experience more pleasant.

Now let’s talk about their pools, hotel view and breakfast. Breathtaking!!!!
Pool staff were great on both pool location (4th and 5th floor). Buffet breakfast has all that you can ask for. The view from room to pool, to gym to main restaurant are spectacular! You will have a view of the ocean, the city lights, the bridge and the mountains. Just an amazing location.
Staff were super helpful all the way down to finding the right mode of transport when we checked out.
This hotel will now be our go to accommodation preference for Cebu.

TTable_for_3We just returned home from Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan. It was our first time in Cebu. It was a short but great trip.
The highlights:
Accommodations: We chose Crimson because we frequent high-rise hotels when traveling and decided this time we wanted a villa/bungalow type of room. No hallways and no elevators. Crimson checked those boxes. They also accommodated our requests for a king bed and first floor room.
Activities and amenities: Our daughter loved Crimzone and the children’s pool. It was hard to get her to leave. The Saturday foam party was fun and the pool staff were engaging. My wife and I both availed the spa and wow, we can see why they won an award for Best Value in Asia. The price was affordable while the quality of service was top-notch.
Food: The buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. My favorite item was the fruit and veggie smoothies. Who knew bakchoy and mango blend well together? But it was the attentive staff that really made breakfast a great experience. We tried the 24-hour room service and I swear the chicken club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in my entire life 5/5!
The lowlights:
Here are some reasons why we are not giving Crimson an excellent review.
1. Overpriced/low quality food in Saffron during ala carte dinner. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were hungry. For two people (our daughter is a toddler) we paid over 5000php for an appetizer, 3 entrees, one beer and one bottle of water. Honestly, the price would be ok for this amount of food if the quality was better. I would suggest Aka or Enye for higher quality food although we didn’t try either. Saffron was empty that night and we found out why.
2. Distance to places/sites. Crimson is quite far for shopping or eating at other restaurants. We hired a private car for 3 hours and was only able to visit two sites and one pasalubong store. Luckily it was only moderate traffic on that Saturday. 2500php for a sedan for 3 hours was reasonable.
3. The gift shop is waaaay overpriced. 950php for a small tube of sunblock seemed very high even at a resort. We also wanted some souvenirs, but there wasn’t much variety at all.
4. Our room needed some TLC. The paint in the nice tub was chipping, the caulking in the showers could use a refresh and there was a huge ipis (roach) in the closet. Luckily we spent most of the time outside the room.
5. No floaties or life vests for toddlers to use, even for rental. Despite having almost everything else, this would have been a nice touch.
6. We came to Cebu for mangoes and lechon, but Crimson didn’t offer these items and again, because of distance, it would have been nice to have some at the hotel.
The bottom line:
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others, however we would give them our full review so they are aware of the pros and cons.

KKurzaWe stayed for 4 nights and were happy with the room, breakfast, staff, room service en general service the hotel provides.
The only thing we think they can improve on, will be the gym. It was too hot inside and the temperature can not be changed. The equipment can also be more, since 2 treadmills are not enough for the size of the hotel. It happened one morning that my wife and I could not jog because there was someone else on the treadmill. If they had more equipment, it would have been possible.
Still, generally we enjoyed our stay and we will return when we are in Cebu again.

JJardaniCHECK IN - the welcome was warm. Greeted by the security at the lobby and instructed to go to 3rd floor (main lobby) for checkin. Approached the front desk and the woman I spoke with (she was the manager I guess) told me to wait because rooms are still not ready since they were fully booked from yesterday's event. A few minutes later they approched and.proceeded with checkin. They gave us a room, away from the main elevator (which I requested), but gave us the the accessible room just beside the service elevator. I guess they have overbooked because I heard someone said, ”to release the buffer rooms.” The front desk lady who assisted me was nice and courteous. The only thing that was off from that experience was the tone of voice of the lady manager. I guess the regional accent was a factor, but I can sense she was judging me for my looks because I was only wearing slippers that time, and she can't find my booking at first, because it was a last minute booking. Not really creating an issue out of that, but just saying, don't judge, and please, the tone of voice.
THE ROOM - everything was great, just a basic room. PROS: A bed, the lights, there's a smart TV, water heater and 2 mugs, a pitcher and 2 water glasses, towels, toothbrush, a hairdryer, 2 rolls of tissue paper, body wash and shampoo refills, airconditioning, and a water refill station near the elevator, hot and cold water in the bathroom. CONS: they could have added slippers (even the reusable ones) because the floor is very cold. The room that was given to us had its bathroom tiles not set properly or balanced, so the water is everywhere in the bathroom instead of going to the drain.
RESTAURANT - there's free breakfast at the resto called Seaedr Prime. There's not much from the breakfast menu, and the bangus was not available. It includes the main dish plus fried rice, coffee, and fruit. They had watermelons served during our 2 night stay.
SERVICE - it was great. The housekeeper cleaned the room while we're away.
OVERALL - I would definitely book this hotel again for a very good deal. Location is nice and I would even compare it to a Holiday Inn.

The owners are on the grounds and personally assisting with the guests and things around the resort.
Food menus are set for every other day, which is unique. The food is delicious! A mix between local and foreign cuisine. They’re accommodating with minor changes to each meal if you request it. They also asked if we wanted our Mel served in our room, which is very cool also!
Adults only, so it is a quiet place. Pool is 24 hours. Check out time can be flexible if requested and the room isn’t booked for your check out day.
This is a great place for couples who want a quiet and relaxing place to stay.
It’s nearby Oslob, the place to see whale sharks.
If taking a bus from Cebu city, the trip is about 3.5-4 hours depending on traffic.
The beach is relaxing with very natural sand composition and the sand isn’t connected to the water, it’s above it. Bring water shoes as the water is natural with coral. Great for snorkeling!
At night we found a giant hermit crab on the beach! First time to see one so big!

JJIANWe stayed in a room on the 8th floor of the Palm building, The view is very spacious, and you can see planes taking off one after another from the distance. There is a drying rack on the balcony for hanging swimsuits, which is a very practical design.
The water park is very suitable for children, the rooftop bar is very relaxing, and the drinks are delicious. The Earth restaurant offers Chinese cuisine with large portions. In the photos, we ordered small portions. The staff at both restaurants are very enthusiastic.
However, the downside is that we had to wait a long time for the room, and we didn’t get the room card until nearly 3:30 p.m. After a long journey, this was a very frustrating process. Additionally, there was no hairdryer in the room, and it took three phone calls before one was finally delivered, which was also a negative experience.

KKarinaKVery beautiful hotel in Greek style, white and blue. Immersed in flowering trees. The hotel has 2 residential floors and access to the roof. The view from the roof is very beautiful. The room had a kettle, refrigerator, welcome coffee and even tea. There is constant access to drinking water in a cooler on the floor. The water pressure and temperature in the shower are good. You can dry things after the sea in the backyard under the roof (constant protection of drying clothes from the sun or rain). We liked it, the shore is close. The photo shows the view from the roof of the hotel.

AAnonymous UserMy stay was good enough. Walking distance from JY Mall which has McDonalds 24/7, which could help for late night cravings. They also have a mini food store in the front desk for soups. This is a good place to stay in if you want to be near IT Park. I did not have any skin issues after so, I think this place is good enough for a budget friendly trip.
