Unbelievably bad hotel. After 9 pm, the reception leaves the hotel. I was able to enter the hotel by accident. I'm not counting other things. Stay away.

Great hotel strategic location to be able to move to the center of Catania without a car. Good breakfast friendly staff. Clean rooms. I definitely recommend it. Easy to be able to shop in a very guarded area. The owner is very nice.

Terrible welcome by a lady who was rude to the point of threatening for having pointed out that the room had: window glass dangerously cracked, shower glass brutally cracked, air conditioning, heating that doesn't work, blocked sink, toilet seat detached, hairdryer unscrewed from the wall. He had the courage to say that everything was fine before and that we needed to tell him right away. Too bad that when we looked for her she wasn't there and she lied about that too. What can I say, I have to stay there for two more days, should I expect repercussions? Or was I really supposed to keep quiet here? The first-hand contact with different cultures and education is nice but I wouldn't want to have to think that Catania is all like this, so I want to think that this is an isolated case to be absolutely avoided.

The hotel is very well located, close to everything. It is an old building, and the hotel is on one of its floors. The reception works during certain hours and then they give you the keys so you can move freely. It is true that there is a market at the door of the building, starting at 6 am and you can hear some noises but nothing that is unbearable and it is also a super nice market full of things to buy. The basic breakfast was basic, but I had mate and then snacked on something, but it's not something that the breakfast stands out for. If the lady who welcomes you is notable, I don't know her name, but she does everything from cleaning to welcoming you, she prepares breakfast and well, sometimes she misses some things, in my case one day she didn't go and I was left without breakfast. However, price-quality ratio I recommend it.

Really bad neighborhood, everything is tagged, and not very reassuring. Hotel entrance not secure. Reception not very professional. Very small breakfast room serving as reception. Soft bedding. Bedroom for 3 with poorly placed bed. View of the neighborhood described previously. 2 outlets out of 4 that work. Better to sleep on the stones of Etna.

No reception on arrival: gate closed. Phone call. One hour wait. The next day other people are waiting the same, we open the door for them! Breakfast is taken across the street: 1 coffee 1 croissant, for more you have to pay!
