Habitat is a very comfortable & architecturally attractive hotel with mid-century modern décor. Its location on a lovely, quiet street is ideal. Museo Diocesano (great view of Etna & the city from its roof) is 8-minutes away by foot. The hotel’s interior patio is a pleasant place to sit & relax. Raffaele at the front desk was professional, friendly & a big help to us re local suggestions & researching transportation options to our next destination. The breakfast buffet is a special feature of Habitat. It’s offered in a beautiful & bright space that converts to a restaurant at night. Extremely fresh farm-to-table offerings - - all of the highest quality - - impressive even for food-serious Sicily. The coffee is made-to-order (not automatic machine) & the breakfast staff is pleasant & attentive. Manuela is the talented chef who creates their amazing pastries. A very nice hotel experience. We’ll definitely plan to stay here on our next visit to Catania.

If you look closely next to the entrance, you will see DOME written on it. There is no large sign, so please look carefully at the wall when looking for the accommodation.
The host was very kind, and the room was pretty and well-equipped. It was a very satisfactory room.
This is a very memorable hotel in Catania.

It is an excellent Bed and Breakfast, very well located meters from the train and bus stations of Catania. The breakfast is very complete and is fully equipped with a kitchen, they leave you fruit and sweets in the afternoon, the WiFi flies, the room is huge, full bathroom and comfortable bed, very clean. I must highlight the attention of Cettina and Gabriella, who were very friendly. The place is strategically located 10 minutes walk from the historic center of Catania. Don't forget to go as the price-quality ratio is optimal

The location is brilliant, downtown San Diego close to every thing. The checking in process was smooth and professional but the receptionist guy was very grim, he gave me the feeling that I am not welcome at all. The room is elegant, impeccably clean and the bed is super, but the air conditioner is rather loud. I gave my greetings to the house keeping as they did an excellent job every day. The complimentary morning coffee was perfect and very good. Upon checkout the receptionists were very nice ladies. All in all a very good hotel to stay in san diego.

A clean and comfortable hotel with large and very quiet rooms, private bathroom. Breakfast is complete: sweet and salad with a very exceptional express coffee! The staff is very friendly and comfortable and very careful to all the needs. It is perfectly located to reach all the squares of the city and is very close to the station. The room was very comfortable and I feel very satisfied. I learned on the site that, in addition to the rooms, the structure offers the possibility of mini-site apartments with angle cooking, really very comfortable! I'll certainly return. I strongly advise!!!

WWatcherLove the very convenient location right in the middle of Via Etnea, walking distances to most of the major attractions. Front Office is warm and very helpful in providing us with information and map upon checking in. Room was great and very comfortable. We were an hour early for check-in, and the room we booked wasn't available then. Instead, we got a surprise to be able to check-in into a bigger room. Breakfast is fabulous with lots of choices. Highly recommended.
The property is right opposite the Rinascente departmental store. Before careful if you are claiming VAT refund. My tax refund of over 200 euros was disallowed as the tax refund form prepared by them deliberately omitted the last digit of my passport number.

Very Good
The location of this hotel is amazing - by the beach. You can opt to relax by the pool or use their access to the beach. We really liked our room - clean and very spacious. The surroundings of the hotel are quite safe. I went for a run in the area and there is also a fitness area in front of the hotel. They also have a small gym 🥰 which I used as well.

We stayed a week in this tiny hotel. It is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything in downtown Catania. The rooms were very well taken care of. I particularly liked the central air conditioning (better than a window mounted loud unit). This helped maintain a very comfortable temperature to beat the extremely hot Catania summer. Combined with the ability to completely darken the room this made it possible to rest anytime during the day or night. The breakfast provided was just okay with capuchino coffee as well as pastries and yogurt. My sister needed gluten free food and they provided some gluten free bread and pastries as well as lactose free milk and yogurt. We bought fruit at the huge outdoor market and supplemented the breakfast with delicious fresh fruit.

DDarcy. WThe hotel is near the bus station and train station and walkable to the main areas in the city. Maybe because of its proximity to the train station, the area between the train station and the hotel feels a tad bit dodgy especially at night.
There happen to be a large market a block away from the hotel on a Thursday we were there. Had quite a nice morning walk there.
The hotel itself is new and very clean. It has a sleek elegant design yet still maintain some parts of the original design. We had a very pleasant stay there.
Many parking lots available right in front of the hotel.
We enjoyed the breakfast, the spread is limited but the variety is sufficient for us.

OOnAir09534379987We needed a hotel room close to Catania’s airport because we had an early morning flight. I was reluctant to book at this hotel because it got horrible reviews. I took a chance and we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms are clean and it’s really close to the airport! They have free shuttle service to and from the airport. We needed a 5am shuttle and they were right on time! We were scared to eat there after all the negative reviews, but the food and wine was great! They had a friendly staff and provided great personal service! We both had delicious pasta dishes and actually all the food looked good! The only negative was the look of the hotel outside. They clearly need to fix up the property on the outside, but I’d prefer a clean room and a good dinner! Don’t listen to all the bad reviews, this hotel is perfect for a one night stay before or after a flight!

GGuest User5 minutes walk from Catania station and bus terminal. I arrived without hesitation because there was a hotel sign at the corner.
The room was a certain size, and the bathroom was large and clean. The shower room was large and easy to use, and there were many hot water and it was pleasant.
I will use it again if I have the opportunity to visit Catania again.

Location is good.
I won’t recommend the hotel due to the one rude staff who blamed me for putting a key on the wrong door(there were two doors before the reception).
At that time I was super tired after walking all day but he ordered me to wait until he finished talking on the phone with angry face. He called me off that I almost damaged the door by clicking the key too much and the other customers could haven’t use it then I have to pay for the damage. He even mentioned the price for it.
Then I had to show him that I can use the keys in the right place and turn them properly.
The worst customer service I’ve ever had and my trip was damaged..

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good, really near from the tourist attractions. It is also surrounded with restaurants and bars. The big local market is just right to the next street. The neighborhood may look odd from the beginning but it is safe. The bed is comfortable. This is a free breakfast place, but the breakfast options are the easy to go ones. The owner doesn’t speak English but can work with google translate. He also offers a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for €20. The walls are so thin so you can hear everything outside of your bedroom. This is most likely ideal for young people as the place is in front of different bars, so, it is very loud during the evening until 1 in the night.
