Is always nice to return to Estelar in CTG, overall good service, excellent pool and tasty food. I stayed many times at Estelar and I always had a good experience - friendly staff and friendly faces. I stayed the past weekend and there was some confusion about my room/housekeeping and Wallis the FD supervisor went above and beyond to assist and to very quickly solve the issue. I really appreciate her excellent attitude and willingness to quickly resolve the problem. Kudos for her. The only issue what I have is with their loyalty program Estrellas Estelar - seems like their central office in Bogota is totally non responsive. I emailed them 3 times to update my missing reservations from this year and to get my ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but I never got a reply. This is a bit disappointing

The old 5 star hotel that stayed when I first came to CARTAGENA 10 years ago, was very impressed, especially for the courtyard layout, the swimming pool and the restaurant on the side. It arrived at around 10:00 am. It has been 28 hours flight and transfer from Beijing. It is really tired and I don’t want to wait until 3 pm (on the Intercontinental, I’ve received $50 for early check-in). The plan to stay; the front desk said that the room was ready to live, and agreed to advance the breakfast on the last day to the day, it is very rare, thank you! The front desk, restaurant and various services are very thoughtful, although the room looks old, still feel things Great value!

The Staff are amazing at this hotel. I stayed on the 5JUN and was so impressed with the service I stayed again on 24JUN. Both Carlos & Ray on reception were professional, efficient and really helpful (I can’t speak Spanish and their English was great). Onel in the restaurant served me both days and he was also great. For an Ibis, I was impressed. Therefore, I think this is a great value hotel.

This my 8th time here since my bday 2021 and my 3rd birthday so I’m quite familiar w the hotel and staff. I truly enjoy all the amenities, location , ample parking , sauna and steam …on site spa…Yada yada yada. I had a problem last year and mgmt stepped up and went above and beyond to make me feel special. This time they had a convention and wound up giving away my reserved room ( I booked my flight 23 Nov 2023 soooo I’m positive I booked the hotel same day). Naturally they gave me the “corporate “ response but I was calm and insistent that I wanted equal or better to my first and only choice ( I’ve had the same executive suite all 8 stays ). I’d like to send a very special shout out and super big thanks to Valentina who I just met and to my buds Eduardo and Rafael for taking the extra time and patience to find me an even better choice….now I’m spoiled and canNOT go back to the regular exec suite, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; treat people w respect and it’ll come back tenfold and it’s people like those three that make the difference, not AI or Sr mgmt…the people on the front line. Thanks for continuing to make one guy feel special

The hotel is strategically located along the coastline, 15 minutes' walk away from the old town of the World Heritage Site. Booked a sea view room and gave it to a high floor when I checked in. The view is invincible. The hotel has three swimming pools. It is very pleasant to have a glass of wine while enjoying the scenery at sunset. The hotel has a rich breakfast, and there are many guests eating after 10 o'clock. Those who like to sleep in do not have to worry about missing breakfast time. The bathroom is very large, and the shower series are from Colombia's local organic brand, with a pleasant fragrance. Ctrip's price is very favorable, much cheaper than booking. I stayed for three nights and it was very pleasant! highly recommended!

Great service. Great location. Fantastic breakfast and even better tasting menu at 1621 Restaurant!! Highly recommend. Concierge, Gabriel, was very helpful. He set up a personal walking and driving guided tour with Roco. It was well worth it in order to get a nice tour of the entire city. David, the bellhop, was equally friendly and gave a tour of the hotel with an explanation of its history.

Not a perfect bathroom or room (cheap shades that fell down and not amazing painting jobs) but very comfortable, nice people, incredible location and truly the best views from the roof pool we practically had to ourselves. This is a great option.

The hotel in nice and the rooms are huge with sea view balcony! This hotel no have private beach so anyone can swim in hotel front beach. When you want to go to front beach and get seats and umbrella you have to pay COL PESO 30.000! In front beach there is a lot of food sellers drink sellers which every 5 min someone gonna come up to bother you that was the only - issue! Rest hotel is great and specially the pools was amazing! Breakfast is good enough! Good for family and group of friends!

Провели здесь две ночи, когда ездили на выходных в Картахену. Расположение - очень удобное, практически в центре района Getsemani, рядом есть все, что нужно (кафе, ресторанчики, клубы, аптеки, магазины), но при этом в самом отеле очень тихо, хотя сам район достаточно шумный по вечерам и выходным. Территория отеля небольшая, есть микробассейн (ноги там можно помочить). Комната достаточно большая и чистая, кровать удобная, подушки мягкие. Что понравилось - кондиционер был настроен так, что не дул на кровать, пожтому с ним модно было спать! Это редкость в несетевых отелях! Санузел по дизайну выглядел простовато, но тоже все было чисто. В душе по умолчанию вода холодная (в жару идеально), для горячей надо включать подогрев. Первый раз с таким встречались за время путешествий по миру:) В комнате не было окон, что было достаточно непривычно, но мы там только ночевали, так что не проблема ... Завтрак был включён, вполне нормальный по содержанию (омлет, кофе, сок, фрукты), но не очень обильный, через час захотелось опять есть)) Персонал приятный и дружелюбный, заселили раньше срока, а после чекаута в отеле можно было оставить вещи до отьезда.

I have stayed here a couple of times and also sent tourist groups. Both times I have been blown away by the excellent service, quality of rooms, comfortable beds. You won’t get hot water unless you are in a refurbished room but the water in Cartagena doesn’t go lower than warm 😂 Breakfast is varied and delicious, let them know in advance if you have allergies like Gluten free and they will do an arepa or adapt to suit, maybe too much fried for me but they are on the coast. The location is excellent as it’s on the border of Getsemani by the centenary park (monkey & sloth’s to be found inside!), just a 5 minute walk to the walled city - don’t recommend cutting through the comercial area after dark, go along park and through clock tower. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so wonderful, we’ll be back.

They are always willing to help and provide comfort and convenience to the guest, especially Daniela at the reception who was very attentive an her attitude of service is her best ally. Congratulations. On the other hand, the location of the Hotel and its cleanliness are two additional positive factors that favor preference for this Hotel.
