Fantastic service from all the workers!! The breakfast was always delicious. You could really spend your whole vacation just in the hotel with all the food options - but if you want to go out they have a complimentary van as well as a trusted taxi service right outside. My boyfriend and I traveled to Cartagena and stayed at this amazing little hotel just outside of the walled city. From start to finish the staff was welcoming and accommodating. We had no expectations, but they really left a great first impression of the city. It’s difficult to say what was my favorite part! The staff makes breakfast for you every morning with fresh juice and fruits and different meals each day. The back patio area and upper patio was the perfect place to relax after wandering the streets of Cartagena. Which in itself is a life changing experience. The hotel itself is located within MINUTES of major attractions and a short distance to the heart of Getsemani, which I recommend seeing for a first hand experience of the warmth and kindness of Colombia. There were tons of shops and restaurants close by and the beach is literally a road over, for those looking. Overall, it was the way the staff interacted with us and made sure we were happy and enjoying our time here. They even tracked down some ibuprofen for me in the late hours of the morning for a stubborn headache I experienced my first night. And they allowed us to leave our bags, free of charge for the last three hours of our trip after check-out and then arranged for a cab to take us to the airport I could go on and on. Thank you again Maria, Javier and Gregoria for your hospitality. Ciao.
