Configuration of a rural guesthouse.
The village is not big, and the location is not very meaningful. The air circulation in the room is too poor, and the musty smell is obvious. The staff has a good service attitude! But the facilities are simple and shabby! Not recommended!

The hotel is a new idea grafted on to an older building. Readily apparent when you are confronted with sash windows which don't work all that well. Car parking is the worst aspect of the place: an 80 room hotel has just 20 speces reserved in a nearby building. Essential to book your spot. Rooms are not serviced daily if you have just a Queen Room. Neither of these features was obvious until you have actually booked or turned up in person. Not good enough. Also it was just too expensive especially when you add a $40 per day parking fee. There is quite a good restaurant in the foyer with a limited but good wine list- not overly expensive. There are easier places to stay in Canberra! Particularly if you are a motorist. The internet connection is not secure also. Staff are a bright spot. Endlessly helpful, cheerful and efficient.
