After a hectic day tour, we finally checked in Parion Hotel at Canakkale , a city in Northwestern Turkey at around 8pm. Room 215 is a suite room set up with a double & single bed. It has a long working desk in the bedroom with wall flat tv, some cosy sofas set up in the living room & and a tv too. Fast speed wifi is accessible throughout the property. Our room has a balcony , facing beautiful view of the canal & city . Complimentary drinking water and coffee/tea are fully set up, as well as the bathroom amenities. Bathtub is a jacuzzi, but on safety side, I prefer to have a safety bar for us to get out from the tub. Room is very private, there is no peep hole on the entrance door. Good breakfast spread , the real honey comb with pure honey is a nice treat !!! All in all, it is a comfortable, good service and a good stay !!!

We stayed from 1/6/24-4/6/24 and found it to be a nice hotel however not a “5 Star” hotel, as advertised. The room was fine, but putting 2 very hard single beds together is not luxury or comfortable in any way. Even the chairs in the room were hard as a rock. The hall carpets need cleaning & there were a few dangling outlets. Simple maintenance is needed. The complimentary breakfast buffet was good and the omelette station delicious. Only misstep is charging extra for fresh squeezed OJ - this is “penny wise & pound foolish.” Where this hotel shines is in the staff. Friendly and professional people can make all the difference & the hotel’s staff is 5 Star! The only exception was visiting the very small pool where the “attendant” was only interested in her phone but dismissive to safety concerns. The water level had mold along the water line and was overrun with screaming children. Don’t bother with a pool if it’s not going to be kept clean.

The hotel claims to be a 5-star establishment but it the building's front and interiors look drab, the 5-star rating was probably decades ago. Upon check in, the card key wouldn't work so had to call reception to send a guy to fix it. Once that was resolved, the next glitch found was the minibar wasn't cooling even if it was plugged. I did not avail of the few drinks inside but I needed the ref to cool the bottled water. The bed and pillows were firm enough. The bathroom's shower had those see-through cubicles with double sliding doors, but the cubicle was so small you couldn't extend your arms sideways. Breakfast was so so.

The rooms are a reasonable size and with its downtown location a very good option for an overnight stay. The buffet dinner and breakfast were not so great but adequate. It was about a 20 minute walk to the promenade for bars and restaurants

Probably in Turkey the stars are easily attributed to hotels... Five stars should not be given to an hotel declaring high speed wifi if this turns to be the ultimate joke... I saw that guests say it for years without any change... I lost about 5 hours in total within 3 days trying unsuccessfully to connect to the internet... You should be very attentive not to speak loudly because of poor acoustic isolation... A buffet restaurant with rather poor selection of food and noisy! Staff not understanding easily english or other foreign languages...

I entered the hotel with a smiling welcome from the entrance. A clean hotel breakfast was ***et clean and sufficient. The price was also ***et reasonable for a five star hotel. I was very pleased, thank you, see you again

Good hotel, clean, great shower, but shower cubicle very small for larger people. Good mattress but creaks with every movement. Bad acoustics, street noises can be heard. Beautiful curtains that don't darken but let in a lot of light. Another negative point is the smell of cigarettes in the hallways and in the anteroom of the room at the entrance. Very unpleasant. So these are points that, if given due attention, could increase satisfaction with the hotel.
