Strictly speaking, it is not a hotel, it is similar to a farm, and it is about 10 kilometers away from the city center. There are no places to eat around, and transportation is inconvenient. You have to take a taxi every time you go to the city center.
The staff service is very good. Only one staff member can speak English, and other communication relies on translation software, but it can be seen that they have tried their best to provide services. Because you need to take off your shoes when entering the room, the child cut his foot on the cement steps at the door. The staff promptly provided medicine to disinfect and bandage the wound.
The room is far from the front desk, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk each time. The greening is very good, but there are also snakes. I encountered snakes twice on the road, but the staff said they were not poisonous. The room facilities are relatively old, maybe there are not many people staying in the room, and some are slightly worn and have not been repaired in time. We booked a family villa, and the ceiling of one of the rooms was damaged. When I was about to check out the next day, I found a mouse droppings on the quilt directly opposite the damaged ceiling.
Because the location is relatively remote, the staff can help call a taxi every time you go out, but it will be more expensive than calling a taxi with grab, and a service fee may be charged.

Loved staying at the Nam Bo! The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. Our room was much bigger than expected especially in a boutique hotel, with a bed room and separate sitting area. We were only in Can Tho for one night, and unfortunately it was drizzling. But we sat under the roof on the outside terrace overlooking the river and had a lovely dinner. Breakfast was delicious, kind of a continental plus plus. All the waitstaff were so friendly and helpful. It was nice to stay in a small, cozy property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nam Bo!

The environment is really great, the island is left alone, there are lush ancient banyan trees everywhere, the rooms are sanitary twice a day, the quality of the hotel staff is also very good, and they smile every time they meet. On the island, you can ride a bicycle and dance with nature in the fragrance of lotus. It is really beautiful! 663221084This is a small family run accommodation, with home cooked meals and a personal touch. The family were friendly, with the 2 younger ladies having good English. The room was lovely, and although we chose an air con room which was described as being first floor and not on the water, this did it an injustice. It was up about 5 steps onto the verandah, and although the verandah wasn't sticking out OVER the water (as some of the rooms were), it was right next to the water and facing it. So we were very pleased. I guess the room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly fine for our needs, with a comfortable bed and good air con. I don't think staff came inside the room at all during our stay, but they did leave fresh towels outside for us each day. We had fun trying out the kayaks one day, for the life of me I don't know how we didn't fall in as it was so wobbly on getting in! We also used the hotel's free bikes, which was great. They gave us a map of where to go, to get to Can Tho itself, and talked us through it to ensure we were clear. I was then able to easily follow the route on Google Maps. We really enjoyed the cycle trip, it was a good chance to venture out on our own, and to explore Can Tho. We were asked each day to confirm what time we wanted to eat, I guess with it being home cooked food it helped them to plan ahead. All food was delicious, you didn't choose from a menu - which I hadn't realised, so was a bit alarmed when food just was brought to the table on our first evening, as I am vegetarian and my husband is not very adventurous with his food! But they had remember I had noted being veggie on my booking and had done me something specially, and we both really enjoyed our food. They had an honesty system for drinks, where you helped yourself, and wrote down on bit of paper what you had consumed. Then at the end they used that to create your bill. The only small thing I'd say is that I hadn't realised from the online photos, that there is actually nowhere near the pool to sit and sunbathe. It wasn't a big deal for us, we still took a couple of dips in the pool, but had we intended to stay more nights we'd have definitely been a bit disappointed there. All in all we loved staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Everyone from the waiting staff to the restaurant manager was very friendly and helpful, especially Wendy, she was very nice and helpful. Will stay here again next trip to Can Tho.

It is a large hotel with big rooms, large reception area, easy parking, has a grand feeling to it.
But the hotel is not being kept up well. Walls have marks on them, carpets have stains, it looks and feels old. And so instead of making renovations and modern changes, they include breakfast buffets and lower the price some days. It’s too bad, I’m sure when the hotel first opened, many people talked about it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very well located in the centre. It has everything. Massage, karaoke, swimming pool, a number of coffee shops, and a sky bar overlooking the city. The rooms are large, well appointed, and very modern. Linens are a high standard, as are the toiletries and wardrobe spaces. The bathroom is large and has all amenities, and is again spacious. Reception is well organised and very fast to respond. The breakfast is outstanding, and the price for staying in this hotel is unbelievably reasonable.

IIndo_backpackerzLocation is in the center, for western food (dino pizza, pizza hut) easy just walk 5-10 minutes. The hotel looks old, but very clean and the staffs are friendly,always smile even if they don't speak english, and helpful (just use google to translate what you need).

PParcherI booked this hotel last minute after deciding to leave where I had planned to stay overnight. There weren’t a lot of economical choices remaining. The hotel lobby is somewhat lavish, the room I had was basic, but clean (especially compared to where I’d left!), and the bed was comfortable. Walls are a little thin, so you can hear folks in the hallway, and the hotel is generally a little worn. But a good value for the price.

NNELLI123456789Every time we went to Can Tho, we stayed to the Saigon Cantho Hotel. This time we saw the deterioration of this hotel which is no longer a 3 star hotel. Very nice welcome. The people at the reception are always friendly and professional. They are very customer-friendly. There is no longer a bellboy to carry the luggage and show the rooms. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and quiet. THE NEGATIVE : the buffet breakfast included in the price is a disaster, a joke of bad taste. No respect for hotel guests. The servers are completely incompetent : one of them, the tallest in size, hides behind the counter to play on his phone. The other boy, behind his soup cart, tries to do his job and that of his friend, but seems to have no motivation. No manager came during our presence to monitor the work of the servers. They are left to their own devices without any control from their leader. Buffet food is miserable and looks like leftover meals from the day or days before. Many customers enter the buffet breakfast room, watch the culinary disaster and leave without even having a coffee. Such a situation is unworthy of a 3 star hotel. From now on I will stay in another hotel in Can Tho.
