Best Hotels in Camaiore, Italy

We stayed in this hotel for the third time and always during the carnival period. I like the hotel very much, from the outer hills, the presence of the lift to the rooms. Simply, sober and equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent for the sea, a little away from the Carnival of Viaggio, but the walk is pleasant. European breakfast, good and with several sweets. nice and available staff, always present. Excellent quality price. The rooms are a bit dedicated, but all useful and functional. I really didn't like the pictures in the rooms (but it's not a key thing!). The room was very warm, even with the winds on the cold, and the winds of the bathroom were very noisy, until they were shut off, and I feared that the neighbors would be bothered.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in a junior suite for three adults plus our puppy with a sea view and balcony. The staff are brilliant being very professional, engaging and highly efficient. The hotel is spotlessly clean, food is great including room service and there are loads of free extras including car parking, bikes, tennis etc. The beach is a short walk across one road and the area is quiet. We have had a fabulous time at this hotel and would strongly recommend it to all friends and family who want to visit Tuscany and experience something very special. The hotel is not so bad, but is a short 600 m from the beach, but the staff is the most unfriendly thing I've ever met! A non-functioning air conditioning (at more than 30 degrees of outdoor temperature) and a loose toilet cover that I reported from 2.Tag in the reception were not offered until our departure. There was also another room at this place. greater shortcomings! I'm used to Mercure a different type of hotels and also staff!!!! I don't want to talk about the quality, selection and presentation of breakfast's! That there's not yet anyone got sick is surprised me! Uncooled and open S*****es and cheese on the plates and butter is almost liquid

Had a lovely week at the Grand Hotel Royal. It's a gem of a hotel which provided our base for a weeks stay. This was our second stay in Viareggio having previously stayed at the Grand Hotel Principe Di Piemonte which is a 5 star hotel close by. The Grand Hotel Royal was pretty much a match and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the friendliness and help of all the staff who went out of there help to provide excellent service. I had the need to attend a local hospital and the concierge staff were quick to advise and arrange for transportation to the hospital. We had a couple of days staying local, enjoying the hotel pool and table tennis and a few days taking day (train) trips to Florence, Sienna and Cinque Terre which was a fantastic day out and worth the 18 Euros day card available from the station at La Spezia which enables you travel between all of the 5 beautiful villages on the line. We did all of the villages in about 6 hours using the trains. All in all a fantastic holiday in a quality hotel with super helpful staff all within the beautiful towns and villages of Tuscany. What more could you ask for?
