AluaSoul Mallorca Resort - Adults Only

The view from the accommodation is the best!!!!!!! It's really nice to take a walk around the area, but it's not soundproof. You can hear the snoring from the room next door very easily. The bedding is damp and smells like it's hard to sleep. It's nice that they provide breakfast and dinner, but one of the restaurant staff is very upset. Hey^^ I have great memories because of the nice view ;)
Inturotel Cala Esmeralda Beach Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Great value hotel, including breakfast and dinner, are buffet, very delicious! The room was very clean, I chose a room facing the sea, I woke up every day in the beautiful scenery of the sunrise on the sea, and I was in a good mood all day. The hotel has its own four swimming pools, one of which is on the shore rock, and it is especially convenient to swim in the sea and rest on the shore. In the evening, the hotel also has a bar singing, and the atmosphere is very good. And this hotel has 16 years old and above to live, so all leisure areas are very quiet, no children are noisy. In addition, we went at the end of October, it was already the end of the tourist season, so there were not many people and it was not crowded anywhere.
Hotel Rocamarina

We had a really great time at the adult only Rocamarina Hotel. The hotel is an older style hotel but it is extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean with lovely staff and very good food, both at breakfast and in the evening. ( all buffet food, but don’t let that put you off!) I felt calm and well organised. It’s in a super location, close to the beach and a selection of shops and restaurants. It is only about a 10/15 minute walk to the beautiful Marina and about a further 10 minutes from the Marina in to Cala D’Or. Our room was very spacious on the second floor and had a safe, fridge, kettle and even a bath. We would certainly recommend it and would certainly return.
Alua Suites Las Rocas

Me and my friend visited Alua Suites for a 4 night stay, we booked half board too. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the appearance of the hotel and the reception area however it went slightly downhill. The reception staff didn’t provide much information, we paid €26 tax which we didn’t know much about, we also paid €2 for a plastic cup token. There is a drinks procedure for round the pool regarding plastic cups we were unsure what to do with our tokens or our cups as reception didn’t give much away. Next our room was across the road from the hotel which did have a seperate pool/ bar area that was lovely and quiet. Our room appeared great upon arrival however there had been very basic cleaning completed as surfaces and the bathroom especially looked very dirty. There was lots of bugs and an overpowering sewage smell throughout the entire room for the whole duration of our stay. The water from the showers and taps is also salt water which can be unpleasant after a long day in the sun. Cleaners come regularly, sometimes at awkward times, one morning we were awoken by the cleaner entering our room despite us not answering the door and having the do not disturb sign hung. She looked at us asleep and laughed/ran off when we responded to her saying hello. The pool area had stunning views and there were regular pool games you could join in with if you wished, as well as a pool bar which does take CARD ONLY for those not all inclusive. The restaurant area was not great at all the food was cold and had flies landing on it for each time we came back. There was very limited choice and none of it looked appealing to eat, in addition the crockery and cutlery was dirty covered in leftover food and a grease layer. We ended up avoiding the hotel and paid more than intended having meals in resturaunts around the resort. Overall the hotel is very lovely to look at and does appear stunning however it is extremely basic/ potentially overrated and can do with some upgrades to make it a better experience overall for paying customers.
Hotel Cala Dor - Adults Only

I have stayed at this hotel a number of years. Thankyou again to all the staff. Everyone has always been very friendly and it's clear many people return here to do the same year after year. The hotel is kept exceptionally clean, fresh and has a great location. The hotels historical history is interesting too where it was one of the first buildings constructed in Cala D'or. The hotel is modern but they have kept a traditional feel & vibe with the Ibiza white style which Cala D'or is known for, amongst the vivid green pine trees and turquoise waters. The hotels well kept grounds offer amazing garden views/sea views to Cala Petita Beach & Es Forti. It is quiet and relaxing but only a few minutes walk to the centre of Cala D'or. Recently I have only had the option to book b&b rather than half board when the upstairs restaurant has been closed during the summer. I initially missed not having the option of half board but I have enjoyed the change as you can visit the hotel's own beach bar Cala Petita which offers a quality range of drinks & food. They also hold music events regularly with bands/dj's every so often. There are also many great restaurants/cafes/bars nearby too for during the day/night. Aswell as the beach bar, the hotels pool bar also offers great food such as pizza's, pasta's, burgers, sandwiches etc. The breakfast is amazing with a choice of cereals, hot food, drinks, fruit, cakes & pastries. All the staff are always on the go. They make a real effort to keep everything running smoothly and people happy. Muchas gracias todos! :-)
Bluesea Club Martha's

The staff are excellent. We have only good things to day about the team we saw, especially given the number of complaints they seemed to be dealing with. I am concerned about the management of the hotel though. Basic things, like the ongoing smell of sewage, should be an urgent priority. This is obviously known and ongoing problem from speaking to other guests and from the reviews. Even the receptionists admitted it. Guests should not be made to suffer that, even free of charge. A technician was sent whenever we complained about the smell in our room, and another (unsuitable) room was made available (only after day 2 ) This issue needs addressing properly, as a health and safety priority. There appeared to be an overflowing manhole cover at the back of the indoor pool on our first day with effluent water flowing along the path. The area was taped off and that pool was closed for a couple of days, but we avoided it afterwards as it is below the level of the drain. Another example was the lack of electrical power points in the kitchen area (and the one that is available was next to the sink - I was not going to risk plugging the kettle or toaster!). I cannot believe that this is acceptable in EU safety standards. The entertainment was ok, but every other night it was pretty good with some professional acts. The bar staff were very efficient. The rooms and linen were clean - but that should always be a given. Thanks again to the frontline staff for your efforts, but the management need to spend some of the money they take off customers to update the hotel and to reduce the number of angry customers you have to face.
