Great location. Within 5 mins walk to town centre, a shopping centre and the train station. Hotel feels and looks grand. Oddly situated and some non-functional powerpoints in the room. Pretty comfortable beds.

Hotel was stunning. Room was spacious and beautiful. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Room was modern. Bathroom was spotless and clean.
Reception staff were polite.
Only disappointing comment is that even though we were staying at the hotel we still had to pay for parking which I think should be free if we are paying customers.

We booked a cosy double for two nights in February. The first room we were given on the ground floor was not clean, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned prior to our check in. The reception staff quickly changed our room which was much better. The general facilities were good, good bar service, pool / gym area was good. Only downside was the sauna wasn’t working.
We would recommend the hotel due to its excellent location, beautiful communal areas and grounds. Opting for a higher price room, overlooking the front of the property would be our choice if we stay again.

I chose this one because it was a good price :) in the center of Buxton town. Close to restaurants, shops, train station, bus stop, nice park 5 minutes from the hotel. Nice service.
Minus parking fees but 5 f per day

Given a room where I couldn't open the window's and I could hear the ventilation (AHU's) - asked to change - only option a single bed room. To be fair the hotel was busy with a wedding, got the feeling I was given one of the worse rooms- hotel guests got the best
