Note, Vegetarian and Vegan only, you’ll not get your bacon or sausage for breakfast. Quality furniture, nothing modern except maybe the bathrooms. Mostly clean, bar a smattering of dust in parts in the room and cobwebs downstairs, but the ceilings are very high! Very attentive host. Small car park and plenty of off road parking. 10/15 mins walk into Buxton town centre. Huge breakfast menu, huge portions, do not over order or you’ll be wasting food. Must pre order. Cooked to perfection and nicely presented. Lovely, quiet area.

This is an excellent guest house. Very welcoming host. Every convenience considered. My room was immaculate. Breakfast was superb, ordered in advance but still so impressed with both gluten and dairy free options provided. Excellent coffee, which is rare! Thank you Wol and Mrs Wol (!) and family for a lovely stay.

Easy off street parking. Wolodomyr the proprietor was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Very comfortable and clean, well maintained with no signs of wear and tear and plenty of character in this previous family home. Our room had everything with comfortable beds, nice shower room and toilet, TV, kettle, all food and drink in the room were complimentary: fridge with water, bowl of fruit, tea and coffee. There was so much choice in the vegetarian breakfast menu which was delicious and beautifully presented on attractive crockery with nice cutlery and linen tablecloth and napkins.

Our stay at Kingscroft was truly exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by Wol, and he was extremely attentive throughout. Our room was beautiful, just as you see in the photos. There were so many lovely touches, fresh fruit and plenty of bottled water. The bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. Vicky's breakfast was incredible, unlike anything we've had before! It's all pre-ordered and the portions are very generous. The location was great too, just a few minutes walk to the restaurants, shops and Pavillion Gardens. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Buxton area. Thank you Wol and Vicky for a wonderful stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and explored local villages. Would recommed visiting Bakewell. :-) B&B was a really nice place to stay, family run and they were really friendly. Room had so much space, the bed was really comfy. There was a fridge with bottles of water, tea, coffee, hot choclate, biscuits, fruit, slippers, house coats etc you couldnt ask for more. For breakfast you get a form to order the night before, there is so much to pick from. My husband loves his meat so wasnt happy when he found out it was a vegetarian menu but he loved the breakfast both mornings. I would say the pre order option potencially could mean alot of waste when people order in the evening feeling hungry then not as hungry at breakfast. Offroad parking and close walk into town where there are lots of pubs and places to eat. We ate at Baileys which had lovley food and cocktails.

A fine B&B situated in a quiet, leafy street in an historic town in the Peak District. Lovely tastefully furnished room with 4 poster bed, garden views and nicely situated within a short walk of dining options. . Hearty breakfast, Informative and friendly host.
