We were last minute guests, having tried to find another place unsuccessfully negotiating the confusing one way system. It has two drawbacks; 1. the car park is about 5 min walk but is secure underground and 2. The decor is mostly OK but needs attention - see photo of stained carpets in corridors. Plus the floor covering in our room was smart but didn't fit well so had bad creaking! HOWEVER, the staff are really excellent and the dining area is very well maintained and serves a really superb breakfast. So all in all we'd be happy to recommend it on understanding its getting tired but only a bit of maintenance could fix that.

Spotlessly clean hotel in the Center of the city with friendly service from reception and the house staff. Very quirky hotel just a minute or two walk from the old town with its plethora of bars and restaurants and fantastic architecture. Art Deco reception and hallways and similar in the rooms. Very secure underground car park just a few meters from the hotel with spaces dedicated to hotel residents. Unfortunately no lift in the car park and it’s 3 flights of stairs to street level. Would definitely stay here again. On a separate note if you want a drink in a friendly little bar the Taverner Celtic Center is just a short walk away.

This hotel has a great staff and quite helpful. The room is nice but the bathroom is extremely small and hard to use. Thus is the biggest issue with the place. Good value for your money if you’re looking at a clean place. I would stay again. About 1 km from the church.

This hotel is located very well, the opposite room is very poorly soundproofed, it ignores the main street and all sounds can be heard, the hotel is 4*, very neglected, the whole hotel now needs reform, maintenance leaves many shortcomings, air conditioning breaks out On the first day, throwing water on the floor, the solution, in case our feet slipped and the air was damaged, so to me, it was as if it were 2* towels on the hotel floor, I will not repeat.

Located in an industrial area 10mins north of Burgos town with ample free parking. We utilised this hotel as our last night stopover before catching the early afternoon ferry from Santander. Easy access onto the main road network and just under 2hrs drive to the ferry port. Unfortunately the day of our visit was a public holiday in Spain so the hotel was brimming with guests in the in house restaurant and the reception guys were obviously not happy having to work from the lack of welcome and expressions on their faces. Never the less the room exceeded our expectations in view of the very good room rate. Good size and very clean room with very comfortable beds and everything you need in the bathroom. Good for a one night stopover before catching the ferry.

The hotel is located in the centre of Burgos, where we have been sleeping two separate nights, one by the way and another by the way to the north. Of these hotels with a little old-fashioned atmosphere, a very dark wood decoration, and a rhino-oil smell in all common areas (reception, room corridors ...), as if smoke extraction from the kitchen takes little, The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. GGuest UserMy name is Jordi A. and I have enjoyed this terrific hotel for 4 days. If you have decided to visit Burgos I heartly recommend you this hotel. The staff is very friendly, polite and professional and I don´t forget the waiters and waitresses that say a sweet good morning when you enter to the breakfast room. They behaved very well with me and one them offered me very friendly a cup of chocolate with ” churros ”. The room was perfect, neither big nor small. The bed was big and comfortable and there wasn´t a noise that could disturb my sweet dreams. I don´t know if I will come back to Burgos but if I go I will pretty sure choose NH Collection Palacio de Burgos again. I wanted to write this review in Catalan, my mother tongue language, but I have seen that it is impossible with Trip Advisor so I have decide to write it in English.

Good: large parking in the same building at an acceptable value; good breakfast of good quality but little variety. bad: the standard room is narrow with a comfortable double bed for two people. It is not so well located. At the time of going to the historic center, they are about 800m where there is nothing intermediate. For example restaurants. You have to walk to the center to dine with the resulting winter climate disorder

GGuest UserWe spent one night at this hotel and occupied two adjoining premium rooms. I don't think we will return to this hotel the next time we visit Burgos. Let's start with the positive points: the staff, the location, the breakfast, the characteristic perfume in the lobby. As for the disappointing/surprising points: A global advanced state of wear and tear (knocks, marks, stains), a surprisingly noisy lift with a warped cabin, a postage stamp-sized television, a sloping washbasin where water stagnates, a composite bathtub that makes worrying cracking noises, missing soap, the air temperature in the corridors is far too high... The main fault remains the capacity of the car park which is ridiculous. The hotel does not reserve the parking spaces, which allows it by refusing to cancel rooms after 6pm not to lose clients who would not be lucky enough to arrive early enough to have a space in the garage located in the basement. we arrived at 8pm and this was our case. The most surprising thing was the impossibility to reach the reception by phone on the two numbers provided. About ten calls made by two different phones during more than an hour were all picked up automatically, nobody answered but we could hear the background noise of the reception. When we arrived, the reception noticed the problem, expressed its surprise but did nothing to correct the problem at the time. Strange... We definitely expect more from a 4 stars hotel.

PPioneer42258866544We stayed here on the way back to Santander at the end of our road trip in Spain. We picked this hotel as parking was easy , a bonus in Burgos. The room was very modern , very clean , fridge, tv , great shower and VERY comfy beds. Bit of confusion on check in , when i asked to confirm that breakfast was included , was told no. O checking my booking confirmation, I found it was, went back to the desk , saw the same gentleman , who grudgingly admitted it was . This same gentleman also advised me breakfast would be served in the right hand restaurant , and marked the hotel location on a map for me. Both these were wrong ! Breakfast was served in the main busy with locals) restaurant ,and the map location was totally wrong ! Maybe he was having an off day ? We got a taxi in to Burgos 12.00 euros , We chose to eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel for dinner, and it was excellent, a menu del dia , including a bottle of wine , dessert and coffee was 14.00 euros pp , great value !

GGuest User¿Quieren que cuente? Pues cuento. Posiblemente de los peores hoteles en los que me haya alojado. Para empezar no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. De imaginan Burgos en pleno verano? Fue una experiencia similar a la tortura de un mártir: asados como San Lorenzo a la parrilla. Para suplir había un aire acondicionado portátil ensordecedor y por tanto inútil. Opción: abrir la ventana para disfrutar del fresco nocturno mesetario. Segunda tortura: asaetados cual san Sebastianes por los mosquitos y el chunda chunda de una discoteca cercana. Tercera tortura: la cama. Colchón obsoleto y almohadas sacadas de una cantera de piedra cercana. Y para finalizar para duch**** hay que ser funambulista: la alcachofa muy mona para una casa particular pero poco práctica para un hotel. Y cuidado las personas mayores con la altura de la bañera porque es peligrosa. Conclusión: creo que hubiéramos dormido mejor en una tienda de campaña a la sombra de las piedras catedralicias. Como aspecto positivo: está céntrico y el wifi funciona bien. No volvería ni a tiros.
