City centre municipal campsite and good location for walking into the city along the river path. Not sure you would want to stay for long but good base to visit the city from . Facilities are not nearly as bad as described in other reviews - functional and clean ... saw them being cleaned twice a day. Copious hot water for shower and washing up. Pitches a tad uneven but it has been a bad winter and it rained very heavily during my stay. Cafe at entrance looks quite intimidating ( it was very full of locals so that says something ) had a lovely meal and staff there are in campsite delightful. .

Very basic pitches not clearly marked and very uneven. Reception lady very welcoming but bar area mostly male orientated and wrong drinks given and I would think it may have made a less travelled person intimated. Facilities very tired but hot water

I agree with other campers that have commented on the filthy dirty sanitation blocks! The two female blocks I went inside are in a total state of disrepair and a risk to Public Health. This campsite is utterly appalling and I’m amazed that the ACSI inspector rates it fit to use! If this site was in the UK I’d be informing the local Environmental Health department of the insanitary conditions.

I had 2 nights here on the way to catch the Bilbao ferry. Good amenities although things need replacing - our EHU only had 2 out of 3 sockets working. Decent restaurant here too. Cycling in to Burgos very easy on a traffic free bike track passing just outside the front gate.

We've seen some pretty dire reviews of this campsite and nearly stayed away. Having arrived, we'd like to set the record straight. The site is welcoming, well-managed, mostly shady and well placed for travelling into Burgos. The facilities are well-used and could do with renovation, but they are clean, well-serviced and more than adequate. Glad we came!

Ideal spot for walking and cycling with good paths and routes. Print off your booking if possible as the campsite had booked us for the following night bit luckily weren't full. The campsite was OK, facilities were dated and not particularly clean. Maintenence was needed. I think the main think that let this campsite down was the rubbish. I had to clear our pitch first and when walking around, the perimeter hedges had quite a bit of rubbish. Would I stay here again? Yes for one night as a stopover.

This Municipal campsite has excellent facilities, even if their appearance is dated and slightly industrial. Pitches are set amongst established trees and fairly level. Electric points close to plots. Shower/toilet/washing buildings are heated and supply hot water at good flow rate. Cafe on site offering basic Spanish food. It is extremely popular with locals who cycle, walk or run through the woods nearby. Drinks are cheap €1.80 for glass of wine €1.50. Located near river it provides a good walk into town of 4 miles. Cathedral worth a visit. Bus stop outside side cheap but only 4 a day.

How anyone in the last five years can say that the toilets and showers were clean, need a quick visit to Specsavers. They are disgusting, dirty, old, unclean.....not sure if my wife and I caught cholera, typhoid and legionaries disease all in one go. Yes its positioning is good for Burgos City and handy to get/go to Santander but that's nothing to do with the site. No grass, pitches VERY uneven, unwelcoming. My parting shot was 'you should pay us, not the other way round. Will NEVER visit again. Go to El astral, Navarette or Haro

Facilities a little tired but clean and perfectly usable. Pitches cosy but flat and shaded. Strongest selling point is nearness to city - 20 minute cycle ride through park gets you into city . Would go again for purposes of visiting Burgos. Cafe handy for breakfast.
