Hotels Near Monumento al General Manuel Belgrano in Buenos Aires

The rooms are spacious and bright, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The location of the hotel is convenient, the Capitol and the Obelisk are all within walking distance. Breakfast is quite rich, but the lack of hot food is also the only deficiency. Pepito - Restaurant y Parrilla al Carbón, a rotisserie in the north of the hotel, is a traditional old restaurant with grilled rib-eye steaks that are tender and juicy, not expensive, and recommended. If you come to Buenos Aires next time, you will choose this hotel.

All many positive aspects - modernness, location, flair, service, etc. - and negative ones - tiredness of some furniture, no international plugs or bottle of water upon arrival, repetitive breakfast with one juice only, etc. - have been detailed over and over in my many reviews here. The suite on the 12th floor is most elegant and cosy, but too bad the architect didn't consider a small balcony there. Oh, please fix the connecting door, it doesn't slide through. I look forward to returning somewhere I am genuinely smiled at and where people call me by first name, given the 'intimacy' developed in so many visits. Again, can I call it my home in BsAs?? I think so! PS. When is the excellent sauna getting fixed?

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! For this price, the hotel is very good. It is clean, maybe needs some renovation. Staff is friendly, but some were a little bit short of knowledge of English. Breakfast could have more choises. The best thing about the hotel was its location. Everything is near, and if not, then subway is near.

Habiéndome hospedado en Ibis Congreso antes de la pandemia, veo que ha decaído ya que ha perdido algunas de sus rasgos que son importantes para el viajero de negocios como asimismo para el turista nacional y extranjero. Una pérdida muy importante es que no ofrecen ninguna computadora de escritorio siendo que hasta la pandemia habian 2. Es algo que deben restablecer y se lo hice saber a la SubGerenta, quien tuvo una actitud desafiante al respecto. Otra depreciación es que no están ofreciendo el diario de papel como lo hacán en la prepandemia, me parece una excusa pésima sostener que pude contagiar covid.... La SubGerenta sostiene que ambos empeoramientos son parte de la pol{itica de IBis en la región, sin embargo, y tal se lo refuté, en países como Brasil siguen brindando ejemplares de los periódicos en papel y hay PCs en el lobby oen un Internet corner. Lo que sigue siendo de alta calidad es el desayuno, con mucha variedad. El servicio de bar también positivo.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

Gran Hotel Argentino in Buenos Aires is located on Avenidad 9 de Julio. The hotel was easy to find, being situated on the main thoroughfare. The avenue is really wide and tree-lined, making it a perfect one for a long walk. The hotel is within walking distance from some of the main landmarks of BA, namely Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (presidential palace), Teatro Colon and the iconic Obelisco are within walking distance. There are several food joints nearby. All said and done, the hotel is in a good locality. I had chosen a single room and it was really small but clean. I needed to catch a flight at 5 AM and the receptionist arranged for a taxi. For a night, the hotel is really convenient.

We just spent a week in Buenos Aires and this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was terrific. The room was a bit small but still quite manageable. Bring slippers, as the tile floor in the room gets quite cold. I'd also recommend you bring a few coat hangars with you, the wire type you get from your dry cleaners that you don't mind leaving behind. There isn't a hairdryer in the room but you can get one from the front desk. You can also get an iron and ironing board from housekeeping if you need them. There is no U.S. type electrical outlet in the room but there is one European type. The included breakfast was adequate--pastries, cold cuts, dry cereal, cheese, coffee, tea, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. If you arrive early, the front desk will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. There are plenty of attractions within walking distance of the hotel, as well as excellent restaurants. Just a block away is a small, family-run place called Viejo Alsina that features excellent food at a very inexpensive price. The famous San Telmo Market is an easy half-,mile walk. For some reason Uber cannot pick you up or drop you off near the hotel. It's about a quarter-mile to the nearest pickup point. However, the car service (Talixo) we booked to and from the airport was allowed to pull up at the lobby door. That was $74 round trip. All in all, this hotel was perfect and the price was a bargain ($321 for the week). That may have been the winter rate, but winter is the best time to visit BA.

Nice location with very clean rooms, most the places that we wanted to visit. 10-20min walking distance, for longer trips we used Uber . But best part during our visit was the front desk staff, Zaria and Nestor was exceptionally nice and super professional. Zaire made sure that we have best possible experience during our visit in hotel and even giving us tips where to go and what to visit . Overall A++ Thank you .
