Hotels Near Floridsdorf Sétány in Budapest

Clean hotel with comfortable bed and generous breakfast selection. We relaxed in the soaking pools every night after walking all day. For a traditional meal with great atmosphere & live music, walk outside, go left & walk 2-3 blocks behind the hotel. Extensive menu & spirits selection at very affordable prices. Our daughter booked us this hotel as part of a 3 night trip to Budapest as a Christmas gift. After visiting Budapest herself, she thought we’d love it so booked us the trip. I don’t normally write reviews, but I thought the hotel had been served an injustice with lots of the other reviews we’d read. We’d read lots that said it was in an awful and unsafe area. The hotel is on a side street, in a city away from the centre, no different to any side street in a city we’d seen before. We saw one homeless person in a doorway, and sometimes people gathered chatting outside the Spar shop at the top of the road, and the other shops…not much of a problem. We didn’t feel unsafe or find the street to be noisy. You are a little bit out of the centre, but the bus stop and metro are conveniently located just around the corner. We used the bus which was very cheap, or free, as sometimes we were just waved on. Once inside our room we heard very little noise, from within the hotel itself, or from the road outside…only the occasional siren. The towels and sheet’s were good, and the room clean, pillows also nice quality and extras in the wardrobe. Room a comfortable temperature. The beds are low to the ground, and the mattresses firmer than we are used to, but after a 12 hour day sightseeing, and a few cocktails/beers we slept reasonably well. Little ******s with the room, a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice for a morning cuppa before heading out. There is a small bar in the reception area where you could get coffee though, and plenty of cafes on the main street. The hairdryer overheated quite quickly and cut out. But only minor issues. The staff were not particularly chatty (us Brits love a chat!) however, helpful and courteous when needed. All in all a good stay and a good base to explore…what do you do from a hotel room? For us to sleep and shower 🤷🏻‍♀️ Budapest is an amazing city, so much to see and do, we absolutely loved exploring, enjoy!

Stayed 5 nights for a conference with 3 other colleagues. Quaint hotel that looks its age. Had very friendly and helpful staff handling check in/out. Had taken a suite, but it was rather small. Main door opened into an anteroom with 2 internal doors - 1 of which led into bedroom (just enough space for a double bed with 2 small side tables). The other door led into a small living room (space for dressing table, couch, TV, and a small round table with a chair). Bathroom is a little dim. Breakfast buffet had standard ham and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, fruits - repeated daily. Noticed the staff change the cutlery after each dinner, but the placemats on the table is not changed. Location is excellent with nearby train and bus station leading to all major attractions. Also have supermarkets nearby.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the cathedral and the river. There are restaurants on both sides of the road downstairs. The hotel facilities are relatively new, but the room is too small, and the two single beds are too small, making it difficult for fat people to turn over. The breakfast is good, especially there is a juicer to make your own juice.

This hotel is right across the Danube river from the parliament building. It is a beautiful site at night with all the lights. The hotel sits on the street that goes along the river. And the hotel is up-to-date and clean. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.  There is public transportation that runs in front of the hotel. The metro station is about a five minute walk.

I stayed in deluxe suite room 603 and it was very spacious with a lounge and kitchen area. Upon arrive the two ladies at reception were informative and helped book me onto the bus tour. I was able to get into my room early (approx midday) and was very surprised at how big the room was. There was a complimentary mini bottle of sparkling wine and water. The location was on the Pest side but excellent transport links. I used the hop on/off bus to travel around and stop 4 (synagogue) is a 15 min walk and stop 11 (New York Cafe) is a 10 min walk. Would recommend using this way to travel around as the hotel is walking distance from two stops!

Currently here at the moment and tbh I’m disappointed! Not like the reviews say. It’s a good 45 min walk to the centre of Budepest. The breakfast is lack lustre at most! Luke warm hot drinks, only one side of the toaster works and very basic buffet. Rooms have no tv, or hairdryers! The amenities it says are here simply aren’t, rooftop bar closed, pasta shop never open, spar next door is very limited hours and the staff are rude. If your wanting somewhere to stay with things around it don’t stay here it feels like your in the middle of no where. Nothing much around it so do expect to be walking quite a way to get to anything. I comply understand it’s geared towards student but even these must be bored to tears with the lack of amenities around the hotel, not even anywhere to grab a bite to eat within a good 10 min walk. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not On a plus note the reception staff are lovely

Very nice stay experience, surprisingly it has a well equipped gym for no reason to skip workout! Free parking! Clean room at detail, overall satisfied, definitely will come back again! Breakfast was acceptable but could be better

My dear friends, this post is going to be about one hotel in Budapest near the airport. Generally my stay was for couple days and it was not bad. However, the location of the hotel was not so close to the airport and anyway you have to take a taxi. The building and design inside is stucked in beginning of 2000 years. It is need to be updated with fresh and new one furniture, to be honest. But, in general rooms are quite big and there are enough space. I stayed in the room with balcony even. It was clean and smelled good, what is really important. Breakfast buffet line provides guests with fresh meal and wide range of snacks, fruits and pastry. Once for dinner I have choose burger with sweet potato fries - it was tasty and a lot. Here you may find the ping pong table to play and sauna and jacuzzi as well. Only because of service and people who is working there I gave “very good” mark, because staff was always friendly and tried to do their job professionally and kindly according to the guests. If owners would renew this hotel and create the resort it will be really great hotel to stay.
