The resort is in a lush of green and good for exploring the surrounding. Though resort is cut off from the city, daily commuting is doable with or with own transport. The public transportation system of Budapest is superb and we use with ease except that had to do 20 mins walk to and fro d bus stop from resort daily….good night xercise

Resort is lovely however reception and bar/restaurant staff are rude and unhelpful. I was on holiday with my family and having Hungarian heritage I found this very embarassing. Cleaning staff are lovely. Towels at pool side were not always available and we were left to walk back to our cabins in wet swim suits. Kitchens in the unit are tired and in need of a facelift.

Nice cabins but little going on at night. Everything closes around 9. Nice area but quite a bit out of the way so would benefit from more info at site about what's around and also about public transport.

It took 4 times going back to reception to get a working key. We got locked out of our room. The patio roof blew off and fell onto the patio. Luckily it didn't hit us. The safe wasn't working. The closet door was broken. The night receptionist was completely unhelpful and did not pass on the messages about the repairs to the day staff. He had a negative attitude as well. On the other hand, Dave, the daytime receptionist was great (which is why the rating is not worse)

This is a good resort if you are going to Budapest. Clean, great food, nice people. The area is a good one just out of Budapest with good public transport links 10 mins away. The downside is the service level - Lacking any sort of motivation or effort to do their best. If you have a question expect the answer to be wait until the next person comes on to handball it. But still a very good ooption for Budapest

nice location, close to Budapest, but in the hills so you can take nice walks in the surroundings. A car is usefull to take a trip to Budapest. Very small swimming pool. When we stayed there the outdoor swimming pool was closed. Nice hotel is you have a dog with you. Special arrangements for the dogs.

Very nice location and cottages. Cottage has personal sauna. Inside an outside pool. Very quite place for family location. 20 min from Budapest center. Need car to reach the location.Not sufficient cleanliness.

Staff cleaned out previously prepared baby crib and camera even I got a promise from front desk that they won't (we were in a wedding so I thought I'm gonna prepare in advance). Fridge smelled like trash, we were not able to use it. Next day, front desk was unable to negotiate because "people with authorization to negotiate doesn't work on Sundays". I wrote an email which took them more than a week to answer. Very, very cheap which is a shame given the beauty of the surrounding area.

Where do I start? We only chose this resort/week to use up a week we were about to lose. The resort is in the middle of nowhere which is fine if that's your bag. It is old beyond It's years. The outdoor pool was closed on the day of arrival with no explanation. The restaurant is poor with such a limited menu. To cap it all, and this is the unbelievable bit, the bar closed at 8pm. Yes, 8pm. There was simply nothing to do. Upon returning to our room we then discovered the TV had no British TV. Not a one. We checked out the next morning, after a really poor breakfast, and stayed the rest of the week in a superb Air B&B apartment in Pest. From there on in we had a great holiday. To sum up, Petnahazy Club has no place in RCI and should be removed from the portfolio immediately. Do not travel to this place.
