Pullman Brussels Centre Midi

The hotel is located inside the train station Brussels midi/sud, which is convenient for public transport. It is about 15 min walking from the city center. It should be a 4-star hotel, but it seems like it has not been renovated for a long time. Although it still looks nice, there are some stains on the carpet. The service was not very good. I called the housekeeping three times for coffee and tea. Furthermore, the reception could not find staples for the receipt. The menu at the restaurant is very limited.

The hotel was stunning and in a very good location, literally 5 min walk till Metro and 1 min walk from train station (Eurostar trains). The room was nice and clean, but the air-conditioner wasn't working, and the mini bar was empty. Good breakfast as well, good range to choose from.

The location are great. Room is excellent clean and big. I will choose again when I travel to Brussels.

The location of the hotel is convenient if you plan to travel to other cities, e.g. Bruges, Ghent etc, for a day trip. It's right above the Brussels Midi railway station. There is a Carrefour Express at the station to buy water and other snacks.

The hotel is conveniently located at Brussels Midi Station. Having arrived around 9.00pm  was looking forward to nice Moroccan food, which Brussels is famous for, I was directed to go out of the hotel a short 8minutes walk to a well reviewed restaurant. I didn’t feel safe walking around the area at that time and quickly returned to the hotel. Dark dingy and smelly subways.  Getting to my room, the phone wasn’t working and I had to take the lift down to order the food. After room service brought the food and quickly left, I realised there were no utensils to eat the food with. So I had to go down seven floors to ask for utensils, and by the time they came the food was already cold. I have to say the Abdel at reception was doing his best to address my concerns, and waived the cost of the room service. Thank you Abdel. The following morning, upon my request again, the maintenance team came and replaced the telephone handset. So, apart from that drama, would I stay again? I might if I can’t find a better one and the same location.  Oh, and as I was checking out they charged me some local tax, which I would have thought should have been included in the quote. Unless this is a Brussels thing.
