Aparthotel Adagio Hotels in Brussels

The location is very good, right next to the grand place. However, the rooms are old and need to be updated. The sink in the bathroom and the woodwork had cracks. The corridors were dark and dingy. The lamps or coffee machine have to be disconnected to be able to charge one’s devices. There are no adapters or usb ports. The day we arrived, the bell boy was on holiday, so there was no one to help with the bags. The front office staff, other than the most junior of them, seemed totally disinterested. The room was hot in the night and the aircon panel did not work. When we told the front office staff that the air conditioning didn’t work adequately, they didn’t even acknowledge what we were saying, let alone offer any explanation or apology. The breakfast was fine, but the staff again showed very little interest in even asking if we wanted a cooked breakfast. Wouldn’t recommend.

The airport is about 20 mins from the hotel and cost about EUR46. As we arrived early morning into Brussels, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and go for a wonder into the city. The hotel also due to availability allowed earlier check in later in the day which was ideal. The location of the hotel was perfect as we were within 10 mins walking location of all the major tourist sights including Grand Place, Mannekin Pis, Choco Museum as well as some historical stunning Churches, some of which were literally on the other side of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by many different restaurants and cafes - of all budgets including so many halal options which was a total surprise. There are also supermarkets within walking distance for water/snacks etc. Room was cleaned everyday and all staff were always friendly and attentive. Facilities in the room include tea/coffee making and one bottle of water as well as the standard things. Breakfast - excellent variety, plentiful, fresh and delicious and all staff were very friendly and cheerful especially towards children which was great to see. Worth paying extra to include breakfast. Swimming Pool - small but was ideal and my son enjoyed this, shallow water which is perfect for children. There is also some gaming/fun for children in the lounge. Again due to late evening flight, we were able to leave our luggage and do last minute shopping and a visit to the Choco Museum. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again if we visit Brussels and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Great location.. good facilities Excellent staff Water pressure and hot water were an issue. Turn the taps on 10 minutes before your shower Rooftop was nice. Poor service up there tho

Our room was quite big, not so for the bathroom, a little bit outdated but nice overall. The bedding is impeccable and very comfortable. Wifi is good. The restaurant was unfortunately closed. Breakfast and parking are a little bit too expensive. The service at reception is quite friendly depending who is there.

This hotel was recently renovated and the lobby is large and modern. The hotel is some distance from Brussels Central Railway Station, but not very long, about ten minutes walk. The hotel is reasonably priced, cost-effective, and highly recommended.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. It was raining heavily when we checked in. The staff helped to point out the entrance of the parking lot. Because the parking lot is very narrow, the staff helped to look at the parking space，Very recommended to stay，Very convenient, very close to the Manneken.

I stayed recently with my family and feel the hotel suited our needs. The room was one of the largest ones I have had in a hotel so there was plenty of room for us all. Cleanliness wise it was good. The bathroom seemed a bit old and could probably do with a bit of a refresh but apart from that it was all okay. We had an issue with our window not closing and someone was up within 5 mins to fix it which was great. We also had someone come up on another day to check everything was okay we reported a couple of broken light bulbs which again were changed very quickly. The staff were generally quite friendly apart from the reception staff who didn't really acknowledge you but the rest of them were fine. The breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. The hotel is in a bit of a run down area near the main train station but we never had any issues. I would suggest if you don't feel comfortable staying near a busy train station then you should maybe look elsewhere as the hotel can't be held responsible for the area they are in. Its a 20 min walk to the centre of Brussels so again something to be aware off. If I was returning to Brussels I would probably stay somewhere a bit closer to the centre but we did enjoy our stay here.

The location is very good, and there are elevators but there are few. Towels, showers, and dew ducts are packaged, but the lights are quite dim. The bed frame is very old, and it makes a lot of noise because it is iron. There is nothing to expect at this price. The first time there was water dripping from the ceiling in the room, I told the counter and immediately helped us to change a room, which is very bad

Location was good, room size is perfect for our small family. Love the services that the hotel provides, super fast and efficient, and fuss free. Hotel even provide lounge area, where hotel guests can go there for a small drink and some appetiser for free. I think every hotel should have such service provided, it is just super nice and welcoming back to the hotel. When we were there, it was raining and hotel staff was even offering us in house umbrella for us to use, and we returned it once we are back at the hotel. Room was a tab bit dark at some corners, but otherwise all is good. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely visit again when we are back in Brussels.
