Very good location, simple and clean, large bathroom

Hotel very well placed for visiting Bruges. One of the cheapest in the center. But excessive price for the service offered: - room not 100% clean - bedding poorly made and not lined? - room with air conditioning but no heating only 22⁰C possible in winter. Except in the bathroom where it is very hot with the towel dryer. - bathroom with large shower but only the movable shower head works, the one fixed to the ceiling does not work. - very poorly soundproofed room and noisy floor!!! We all hear what is happening around us. - beautiful and simple decoration in the room furniture in the room broken including the lampshades of the chandeliers. - very beautiful view at the back of the many monuments! - very beautiful terrace on the 3rd floor with beautiful view. I didn't find the breakfast exceptional, it lacked a bit of choice for my taste but the main thing is different breads nutella jam cheese yogurt hams hard boiled eggs hot drinks dispensers. The orange juice isn't fresh and isn't great. These are bottles emptied into 1 carafe... - no person to welcome the room badges are placed on the counter and it's up to you to find the badge with your name - hair found in the bathroom when I arrived. .. I found the prices for glasses of champagne excessive (16 euros per glass) for 1 bottle sold hard on the market at 37 euros... - a tax of 4 euros per person is requested upon departure. Overall, this hotel needs to improve or significantly reduce its prices, despite the fact that it is in the center of Bruges. 2.5/5 possibility of going hard a 4 if the modifications are taken into account!

This accommodation is not at all worthy of the name “hotel”. Scandalous room. It started as soon as we entered. When you arrive soon it will seem as if this “hotel” is deserted. The café/restaurant area has been abandoned and dilapidated for months (years?) When we got to the room everything started. Creaky old beds, broken light switches, broken air conditioning, room door did not even open on day two, after which they had to break open our door and the room was half a meter from the breakfast room, where it was at 5 in the morning! o'clock there is already a hellish noise and it is impossible to sleep because of the thin cardboard walls. Breakfast is literally prepared next to you, as if they are IN your room, unlikely. You can just as well put your mattress in the breakfast room. Breakfast was not too bad, but the service was also substandard. Before you even sat down, your room number was asked, as if you were an intruder. Overall terrible experience. We clearly slept in a room that is used as an “additional room in need”. You get 0.0 sleep there. This is a room that should NOT be rented out! I advise the owner never to rent this room again.
