"The hotel is incredibly close to the station, which was a huge convenience, especially when traveling with luggage. My only suggestion for improvement would be a slightly lower price or the inclusion of breakfast. However, the hotel itself has a very stylish design and looks both clean and attractive."
"The room is smaller than in the photos. If you pull out the sofa bed in the living room, there is basically no extra space. The kitchen is long and thin. Although it is small, it is fully equipped and convenient for washing and cooking. The environment at the entrance of the hotel is average and under construction. But it is very close to all attractions."
"The hotel is super good, the room is quite big, very clean, two steps to the beach and the bus station, a little far from the train station, but the overall is very quiet and comfortable. The recommended breakfast shop is delicious.
I also have a lot of snacks, love."

Title: A Pleasant Stay with a Few Minor Hiccups
My recent stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton was, on the whole, a very pleasant experience. The hotel's location is a definite highlight—it’s just a two-minute walk from the bustling Brighton Pier and a stone's throw from some fantastic independent coffee shops and restaurants. This made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy and convenient.
The staff were a particular standout. From the moment we checked in, the front desk team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. They provided us with a map and some excellent recommendations for local places to eat, which were spot on. Our room was also a great feature; it was spacious, very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel.
While my stay was largely positive, there were a couple of minor issues that kept it from being a perfect 5-star experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton particularly for those looking for a great location and a comfortable stay. The fantastic staff and clean, well-appointed rooms make it an excellent choice for a weekend getaway. While there are a few small areas for improvement, I would certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to Brighton."
"This was a really lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and only a few minutes walk from the beach. I was staying alone and felt very safe in the area. The road was quiet but the windows were soundproofed well anyway; I couldn't even hear cars pass outside! Thank you, I'll definitely stay here again."
"Nice flat great location close to beach and shops and restaurants , not so easy to find due to works going on where your are told to turn says taxi and buses only , says parking available on description but doesn’t mention extra cost which is disappointing as it does bump up the price and should inform that there is an extra charge also charge by day not by night so extra £60 for 2 nights , instructions for space weren’t clear had to call and a car was in the space , both showers not great hard to get temperature right and the en suite one was broken the attachment was broken so we didn’t use , there are a lot of stairs over 4 flights(77) apparently but that isn’t mentioned wasn’t an issue for us but If you have young children or elderly people or lots of luggage could be an issue, overall great location and a nice spacious flat"
"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the train station, which made travel extremely convenient. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and all the basic amenities. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay."
"Pros: great location, minutes from the beach. Decent room size. Friendly receptionist.
Cons: off street parking only, costs over £20 per day and finding a space near the hotel is purely based on luck."
"We had a great experience at this hotel! The welcome cookie was delicious and just what we needed after a long drive down from London. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with some towel art and cake! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet had great variety and a beautiful view.
Only comments would be the lack of complementary water and mini-fridge the room. The AC took a while to become cold, but it got there eventually.
Overall, we had a great trip and don’t regret picking this hotel!"
"The hotel is a bit of a walk from Brighton train station, but being right by the sea, you can hear the seagulls at night. The family room was quite compact and located on the third floor. The lift doesn't go directly to the room; you have to take a narrow set of stairs from the lift landing, giving it a bit of a mezzanine feel. It was very convenient to catch a bus to the Seven Sisters Cliffs."

Great
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Every interaction — from the front desk to housekeeping — was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel bar. Cozy, stylish, and expertly run, it was the perfect place to unwind in the evening. The bartender was not only skilled but also incredibly friendly, offering great conversation and even better cocktails. It felt less like a hotel bar and more like a local gem.
Breakfast in the morning was another standout. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive — fresh pastries, perfectly cooked eggs, seasonal fruits, and rich, aromatic coffee that started the day off right. The dining staff was attentive and cheerful, making the experience even more enjoyable.
This hotel is a true example of hospitality done right. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
CChris from the shirePros first. Great rooms, great staff, clean and looked after hotel, right on the front. Near to everything.
Cons Hotel is also a club / pub and is very loud till 4pm during the weekends. All rooms are above the bar / club so had little to no sleep the entire time we were there. They do provide ear plugs in the room but this hotel is suitable for the young ish amongst us of night owls.
Wouldn’t go back but only because of the lack of sleep. Booming bass and a good nights sleep are not a marriage made to work.
GGuest UserNote that not all floors are accessible via the elevator. The building is located near the beach. The views maybe disappoint. Walls are thin, so if your neighbors argue, you'll hear it. The rooms are in good nick, with a good bed, shower and toilet. Housekeeping skipped our room and we had to ask for new towels at reception twice, which was disappointing. We didn't try breakfast. There's a convenience store that is open late across the street, and no fewer than three Thai restaurants in the street. Probably not recommended for twenty year olds or parents with kids (need to keep it down!) or for the older set (lack of amenities besides a kettle, hair dryer and wifi). Good for a couple's weekend getaway with activities about town.
GGuest UserWe've been staying at this hotel for years, the hotel is right on the seafront and adjacent to the Lanes so its perfectly located. If you can't get into the hotel car park then there is an inexpensive car park right next door. The hotel is very old and quirky in places and there are lots of public spaces on the ground floor where you can chillax away from others if you want. The restaurant is good value and the buffet style breakfasts offer loads of choices. The staff are always very helpful and attentive. Given where it is and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms its great value for money.
JJonathan WallerNice hotel in good location next to the Brighton Dome and short walk to The Lanes and the seafront.
Our initial room wasn't great - v.small and some electrical issues and nowhere to work from with a laptop - the hotel was fully booked but the management kindly offered us an upgrade to the suite at a preferred rate which was gratefully accepted and went the extra mile to install a desk and chair which made things so much easier on our 5 night stay.
Great coffee shop on the premises is a bonus.
I get the feeling they were short staffed on the cleaning front, which i won't complain about as it seems to be a common problem across the UK.
Overall a good comfortable stay and the suite was a good size with round bed, bath and walk in shower. A panoramic view provides plenty of light into the room. nice.
Thank you
Llann94High hopes but this feel quite short in a number of ways. From the photos the room looked lovely and this did match up. However it did become apparent that aesthetics have been prioritised over other aspects. The pub/club opposite was still incredibly noisy at 2am (on a Tuesday) with the windows doing nothing to muffle the noise. There was fast food rubbish found next to one of the beds from a previous occupant, and this was quite a large wrapper that would have been difficult to miss during cleaning. Communication around bed preference was not good at all, I had specifically asked for a king (and have the evidence of this in my booking details) yet on arrival twin beds were set up. When I raised this with the company, there was no offer of rectifying this, instead I was told more than once that this had been the request. To add insult to injury, our neighbours in the room next door invited some friends to their room and it seemed they were having their own party at 3am with shouting, giggling and loud music and more than 5 in the one room. We knocked on the door in the end to request some quiet as, with the club outside, we were completely surrounded by noise. One small plus point that, once we managed to get to sleep, the bed (albeit the twin I hadn’t requested) was very comfortable.
BBimal KalyaniCheck in time 4.00 pm ...ling waiting though rooms are ready they dont give ....and check out time 12.00 ..if check out 13.00 they want to charge 10 pound extra .
So its our 4 hours waste .first time in whole world i see like this check in 4.00 pm
GGuest UserThe room was not large, but it felt modern and clean, just like the picture! The location was good, but it was disappointing for a place where 4 people went and paid 80,000 won per person. There was no elevator and the bathroom was shared... ㅠ But I think that date was a bit expensive. I looked up other dates and it was just a little cheaper. I would have been 99% satisfied! The bathroom was clean, but there was no shampoo. They gave us one towel each.
GGuest UserEasy to book via Trip.com, reasonable price for room with ensuite in great location. I liked the decor and the bathroom. Lovely clean fluffy white towels, good wifi, password clearly indicated, useful blackout blind, HOWEVER, the lights were falling out of the ceiling, bedside lamps were sort of attached to the wall, very wobbly and dusty and the bed was cobbled together from two mismatched divans so that there was a downhill slope towards the head end of several inches. I have never seen anything like it. I slept for an hour or two using the pillows to prop me up, but still woke with all the blood gone to my head so I had to sleep upside down on top of the bed. A bed to sleep in is THE basic requirement for a hotel room, so really guys, install an actual bed!!!!!!
