Chose this hotel for the location, definitely not the character. Dynamic pricing meant I paid more than my friends, even though I booked on the same day - which really stings. Check in was fine, as expected. Housekeeping had failed to clean away the previous room occupant’s half empty milk carton, empty can of Amstel, and food wrappers. The had soap dispenser the bathroom didn’t work, and was filthy. When reported to reception, the receptionist couldn’t have cared less. I didn’t get an apology. She said she’d feedback to housekeeping but didn’t even make a note of my room number.
