Wat een fijn hotel! Mooie schone ruime standaard kamer, prima voorzien van koffieapparaat met cupjes, wifi en TV. Heerlijke bedden, goede douche. Fijn ontbijt en dicht bij openbaar vervoer (trein station dichtbij). Prettig verblijf!

Very warm welcome upon arrival and we were pleasantly surprised by the changes since our last visit. There is a much more cosy feel to the hotel now with the restaurant area being much closer to the bar and free coffee available throughout our stay. Our (2 twin) rooms were clean and large enough for the two of us to fit comfortably in without falling over each other. There was a good selection of food at dinner and each dish sampled was well prepared. I need to give a big thumbs up to Lise, who treated us like family during our stay.

The hotel is located next to the highway and railroads. Therfore you cannot leave the window open due to the noises. There is otherwise not much going on around. The hotel lobby was ok, but also serving as the bar and breakfast room. The first room I got was located directly next to the hallway door. This door was closing with a hammering bump, so that I asked for a new more quiet room. The room itself was functional but not really clean. I found a insect on my bed and also the toilet didn't looked too good.

Een absoluut schandalige ervaring met Bastion Hotel Ik kan niet anders dan mijn zwaar negatieve ervaring met Bastion Hotels delen. Het begon met een mail waarin werd aangegeven dat mijn reservering nog afgerond moest worden en dat ze mijn creditcard nog niet mochten belasten. Tot mijn verbazing is dit echter wél gedaan! Ik had vier kamers geboekt met mijn vrienden, maar omdat de communicatie aangaf dat de reservering niet definitief was, hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt van de kamers. Groot was onze verbazing toen er tóch bijna 400 euro van mijn rekening werd afgeschreven! De nasleep was misschien nog erger dan dit misverstand. Ik heb meerdere pogingen ondernomen om contact op te nemen met de klantenservice, maar telkens word ik doorverwezen naar iemand anders die simpelweg niet reageert. Als er al gereageerd wordt, duurt het minimaal 7 dagen voordat ik überhaupt iets hoor. Tot overmaat van ramp blijkt dat de informatie die ik wél krijg, ook nog eens onjuist is. Het lijkt wel alsof niemand daar weet wat ze doen! Bastion Hotels heeft met deze wanpraktijken laten zien dat klantvriendelijkheid en service absoluut geen prioriteit hebben. Ik zou persoonlijk nooit meer overwegen om hier te verblijven. Dit was een schandalige ervaring van begin tot eind.
