The room was spacious with two desks in addition to the sofa area. The bathtub and shower are separated, so I was able to soak in the hot water slowly and heal the fatigue of the trip.
The front desk staff was very kind and luggage storage was smooth. It's close to the theatre, so I was able to get to my room in less than 5 minutes after watching the ballet.
We walk a little to old town, but it is range on foot and is really immediate if we use bus.
In addition, we want to stay by all means if we go to Bratislava!

The hotel was good, but it feels a bit overpriced as I booked even better one for the same price in Vienna, which is a contrast city in terms of the price. Gentleman at the reception was friendly. Bear in mind that the hotel will charge additional city tax when you move in.
The hotel itself was more less clean, but the room was not spotlessly cleaned to be honest. I had some hair on the soap dispenser and some threads in the bath. The bed was a bit small and short, furniture was slightly damaged. The door had old post soviet style of faux leather Ron top and I was wondering why… I woke up at the middle of the night from the screams of the children that were so loud in the corridor for some reason. The sound insulation is not good at all there sadly and the fabric door did not really help.
The hotel has nice authentic lobby which reminds a Soviet porch with Persian carpets. I booked 1 month in advance for 26th of December and paid $68, which I think is overpriced, considered the quality and space of the room. If it was cheaper, I’d have given more starts for this review. It is ok for one night if you just come and fall asleep. Hotel needs renovation.

The location is great as it’s in the very center of the city and you can basically walk to most of the places without even using public transportation. Other than that, there are not so many positive things to say as the rooms are quite small (but clean and with everything you may need even to cook a simple meal) and the walls are so thin you can hear ANYTHING is going on in the next room, and not only that one. On Saturday we couldn’t sleep for most of the night as a bunch of guys decided to get drunk and didn’t care about keeping it quiet (not even after my boyfriend knocked on their door and told them we were trying to sleep, this was around 01:00 AM and they went on talking and shouting till almost 02:00 when they finally decided to go out to keep drinking). The next morning, we told the girl at the reception about it and she said she was really sorry and that she would have talked to her manager in order to give us a discount on our stay to make up for it. Unfortunately, that was the last time we saw that girl (we stayed other 3 nights and she asked us our room number and our contacts) and we never heard from the property till today. In the end it looks like they are sorry for you but they don’t really care or pay attention to their job, when I let them know about our early check-out they even asked me to pay a fee for it because they didn’t realize I asked for an early check-out and not an early-check-in! In another occasion we had to let people in as they had been calling the number to get the door opened for minutes but there was no one at the reception, when the girl finally arrived we could see that what was keeping her from answering was that she was making herself a cup of tea (or whatever she was drinking..).. Definitely they can improve their staff skills when dealing with people and maybe try to look not so bothered by guests because they have to interrupt their personal calls or because they want to have their beverage. Not a pleasant experience and we won’t go back there next time in Bratislava!

Don’t be deceived by the photos! The only positive thing we can say about this hostel is the bar downstairs with the evening activities. The main entertainment man was lovely and very welcoming, whilst the other staff looked at us as if we had 10 heads most of the time. We were inter-railing and this was the worst hostel we had been in. Despite there being free washing use, which was great, the dryers were horrendous and left our clothes wet for ages, and boiling hot (untouchable) leaving our room almost as a laundrette. The hostel was at the end of an alley way, so didn’t feel particularly safe, as well as the doors to the room not being great(with force, you could probably barge the door down with body weight). The bedsheets were stained and bobbled and so were the pillows. The showers were small and gross, with hair bunged up around the plug hole. The beds also creaked like mad and the fan was something from the 90s which puffed out less than a breath of air! I would only recommend this hostel if you were desperate and in need of a central hostel in Bratislava- but wouldn’t recommend if you were looking for a safe, clean room!

What a find! The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location for exploring Bratislava. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I've found anywhere and couldn't do more to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with something to suit everyone. Our room was spacious and comfortable with the only downside being that it wasn't air-conditioned and consequently was overly warm for our liking but this was a minor negative. Overall we and our friends had a lovely time here and this hotel would be our first choice if visiting Bratislava again

Cambiano i teli dopo 2 notti. Consigliato!

I stayed two nights in February, the hostel was clean, spacious, light and quite cozy. The hostel feels little bit like a huge flat with many rooms, it has nice and calm/chill atmosphere, I felt there like at home, which I really appreciated. In the big ”living room” there two big tables with chairs (perfect for playing board games), sofa with armchairs and bookshelf with armchair in the corner. In the living room there is always tea/coffee to make, that's very pleasant. There is also a small kitchen, suitable for cooking. Toilets and bathroom were clean and ok. I liked the bed, it was comfortable and didn't make any noise when moving. Rooms are very very spacious. I would like to thank once again to the host, Rado, who was so kind and sent me by a post (for free!) things I forgot in the hostel:)) Next time in Bratislava I'm definitely choosing this hostel again.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for 2 nights during our inter-railing trip. Upon arrival we were given 2 drink vouchers to enjoy at the bar which was very generous. Furthermore, the staff at reception went above and beyond for us. When we got to the next city as part of our trip I realised I had left something in the hotel which was of sentimental value to me. I emailed the hotel & Maros replied within 24 hours to let me know that they could post my item home that I had left behind. The kindness & willingness of the staff to provide this level of customer service was something I was very grateful for & something that has been somewhat lost to an extent in this modern age. Not only this, the hotel itself is lovely & the rooms are extremely spacious which suited us as we had a lot of luggage. Would definitely recommend a stay here whilst in Bratislava!

Outstanding
GGuest UserVisiting Bratislava for first time. Wedding anniversary so asked if any chance by email of an upgrade. Generously gave us an upgrade to a suite. Mrs T mightily impressed with the room and facilities. Staff all friendly. Breakfast brilliant with lots of choice. Interestingly bread and butter pudding which we think used yesterday croissants and pain a chocs. Absolutely delicious. Had a small issue with the bath tap. Reported and fixed while at breakfast. Fab service. Location very central with bus and tram stops nearby and can walk to old town in 10 mins. We will definitely return and highly recommend.
CCHIIt is only 10 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk to the presidential palace garden and more than 10 minutes walk to the main attractions of the old city, so staying in this hotel basically does not need transportation to get the whole sightseeing place to go. The decoration of the hotel room is very special, unlike other general hotels, I appreciate it. Minibar drinks, is included in the rent and no further payment is required. The hotel buffet breakfast is great. I would recommend this hotel to travelers who come to this city for sightseeing!

GGuest UserIt's a decent hotel for business trips and is walkable distance (weather permitting) to the business districts. The old town is a short stroll away and the Castle is a 20 min walk. There's also a host of restaurants nearby. The rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious - modern and clean with most amenities like iron/hair dryer/locker and coffee machines. There is a gym as well but it's limited to one machine and a couple of treadmills - which is reasonable for when travelling. The breakfast was disappointing - no fresh hot beverages ( there is a coffee machine in place) or omelettes and just cereals and bread/pastries if you're a vegetarian. Also, the hotel and location would best suit business travelers and not families with smaller kids given the cobbled streets that are not ideal for buggy pushing. ( And no pool in the hotel)
Having fully renovated the rooms means NOTHING if you don’t think things through. Our experience was bad, but just because the management didn’t clearly make sure that everything was working as it should be in a 120€ a night hotel which offers “executive rooms”. Upon check in, our room was cold and we couldn’t turn on the heating, even though on the istructions provided on how to manage it looked so easy. It wasn’t. At some point someone at reception activated it… but all the way up! The room was SO warm at night we had to call reception at 1AM to ask to solve the issue or be moved in another room, which eventually happened. As compensation we were offered a bottle of prosecco which was given to us… room temperature and upon checkout (two mornings after), when we had to go at the airport! Where were we supposed to drink it??? Anyway, Those newly renovated rooms are ANYTHING but soundproof as unfortunately we could hear voices in the corridor in the morning and from another room next to us. The design of the bathroom/shower is poor as the spash screen is too small and water spills out on the floor. Also there are no wall plugs right by the bed which is also absurd. You need to get out the bed to use one. The breakfast is ok but poor considering the quality this hotel presents itself to be. Therefore, £100/€120 a night for a room feels WAY overpriced (and remember it’s still 20 mins walking from town center). To the readers, I’m not saying “avoid at all costs”… but consider my honest review in your choice.
CcallfrankThe location of the hotel is ideal for tourists, close to the castle and the old town. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at check-in. The line of guests was very long and it took forever. However, I don't want to blame the staff for this, there were just too few of them, the planning seems to be bad.The rooms are good, not completely without flaws, but okay. On a positive note, there is a well stocked minibar, which doesn't happen very often anymore. The cleaning staff also does a really good job! The service in the bar is ok, but the cocktails are ridiculously small. A small but well-equipped wellness area adds to the comfort. In short, I think the hotel offers good value for money and I would book it again.
GGuest UserThe hotel is of a good standard and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms/apartments were a good size and nicely furnished. The only, but, is that we are 3 ladies over 60. Not only was the walk uphill from the old town quite a challenge, but the hotel car park is a cobbled slope and the entrance to the reception is via 2 sets of stairs one without a handrail. Distance to the old town was not a problem, but the slope getting back was a chore especially in the heat. Definitely don't want to take anything away from how good the hotel is, but think older people or people with mobility issues need to know
I ended up booking Hotel Antares last minute due to the Vienna lockdown and honestly almost was glad for it! Antares is a bit out of the way (it's a few blocks from the minibus and maybe a half mile from the main street), but the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were large and clean with great WiFi. And the breakfast was quite delicious. The only thing I can even vaguely complain about was that it is a bit hard to find and something of an uphill trek from transit. But if you're willing to deal with those two (very small) annoyances, this is an amazing budget hotel with a tremendous number of ammenities for its very reasonable price.
Yyoshikazu nakaiThe hotel is a little far
Hotel is worth more than the price
It is beautiful and clean.
As expected of the Hilton brand.
The surrounding security is also good.
5 minutes on foot
There is also a convenience store with a gas station.
There is also a pleasant store where you can eat in front of you.
I will not be inconvenienced.
Transportation will arrive in about 5 minutes.
GGuest UserGreat hotel, bathroom, beds, breakfast. Couldn’t be better! Lady at front desk was welcoming and showed us around. Rooms had tv in them as well which was a nice amenity. Would defintely consoder staying here again.
