The stay was great until the end. Front desk checked out my boss' room instead of mine even though I gave them my room keys with the sleeve that clearly has my room number written on it. I did not provide my name as I assumed she would be able to easily pull my profile up by the room number and she also did not ask nor confirm. I was in a hurry to get back to the conference so did not check other than the amount when we went through the bill on the pad. My boss' went to her room 30 mins later to get her belongings to check out and housekeeping was in her room touching her clothes. She was justifiable upset. She complained and front desk told her that I gave them her name when I was checking out so they checked out her room instead of mine. That was a blatant lie. I am not sure how that mistake could have happened, but I do know it was not because of me pretending to be my boss. I did not appreciate MO staff not taking accountability of their mistake, instead proceeded to put my job at risk. Though my boss' did not believe I would do that because she knows me; it was still very upsetting to have to hear my boss tell that story in front of my colleagues, to have my integrity put into question like that in a professional setting. I don't think the front desk person realized how damaging that could have been had it been anyone else but my boss. It is very unfortunate that this happened because I have stayed at other MO location before and have high expectations. Because of that I cannot recommend your hotel to any of my contacts, especially professional contacts. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again either.
