Bohol Island Hotels with Bars

I recently stayed at The Bellevue and while the overall experience was decent, there were a few hiccups that affected our stay. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that our room's AC was not functioning properly, which led to a transfer to another room. After a long day of travel, this was quite inconvenient. Unfortunately, the new room we were assigned wasn’t as clean as we expected, so we had to request housekeeping to tidy it up, which added to the frustration. The service at the resort was generally slow, particularly during dinner. The staff seemed a bit disengaged, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. On a brighter note, the breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and dinner, though average, was satisfactory. One of the highlights of The Bellevue is the range of activities available within the resort, which added value to our stay. Despite the service setbacks, we still managed to have a pleasant time overall. With some improvements in service speed and room maintenance, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Our stay at Mithi Resort was very enjoyable. The resort offers a wide range of facilities infinity pool, swimming pool, a gym, a spa, access to the sea and associated activities, and its own cave!). The restaurant's food was tasty and we really enjoyed the singing band every night. The resort is about 1.5 hours away from the main local tourist areas (chocolate hills, tarsier sanctuary). Would recommend 100% for a Bohol stay.

We had a great stay. Good breakfast by the pool, huge room and bathroom with shower and bath. Definitely coming back. The location of the resort is bit far from Alona beach however it’s only 5-8 minutes by tuk tuk.

The place is fantastic, located right beside Alona Beach with a small road leading directly to the beach. The hotel's food is very nice, and the two swimming pools are great for families. The studio room can accommodate a family of four, and there are many complimentary activities such as kayaking, paddling, and archery. Highly recommended for families. However, there is no lift to the third level, which is not friendly for the elderly.

This was a good location hotel though the pathways to this hotel are not ideal on a motorbike especially when you are at night watch for the stray dogs. The hotel was clean vibrant though the dusting needs to be looked at we where harrased allot by reception staff on our stay phone calls to check out at 11.45am when check out was 12pm. Put some wet swimware on the balcony to dry and had a phone call at 8am to remove our clothes. My partner speaks the local language and we had an interesting breakfast time listening to the staff ***** and complaining about the guests. Maybe they should be careful as we knew what was being said lots of staff stood around not working. The manager on duty was kind and helpful but the stay was not perfect it was quite expensive for what we got next year will hopefully stay at the grand

Stayed there for couple of nights. Room is spacious. They have complimentary shuttle service to and from Anola beach. There's 1 time that I requested for takeway breakfast and the Reception have no idea about the arrangement. Simple request but it will cause delay to those guests who need to leave for tours early in the morning. I shared to Reception that the bidet in the bathroom is leaking but nobody came to fix it. We usually order food from room service. Food quality is average. Housekeeping won't clear the dirty plates during make up room. In this property, you will always need to ask for the things you need or want. They don't anticipate. I was looking at the pastries near popcorn area one time and the staffs from the restaurant beside it were staring at me but nobody approach and ask if i need any assistance.

15 minutes from Bohol airport, about 30 minutes from the port. Green area of ​​the hotel, mangrove forest, bamboo bridge among the mangrove forest. The hotel offers a trip to the South farm. Spa center (massage from 500 pesos, hourly massage from 1000 pesos). We did not use the shuttle to the beach. There are sun loungers, tented seats, and gazebos by the pool. There is currently one restaurant on site, a bar by the pool and in the evening a bar on the bridge with a platform where you can admire the sunset. There was a promotion in the bar and restaurant: from 7 am to 7 pm - 50% discount on alcoholic drinks. Menu: Filipino and Italian cuisine. The staff is very attentive to the guests. We had breakfast: choice from the menu, served either in the restaurant or in the room.

It is very suitable to bring children or several friends to stay; has a private beach, although there are a lot of seaweeds, it is also good to pick up small crabs at low tide; there will be no hot water during the period of time every day, and the weather will be acceptable; The location is relatively biased, you can rent a small motorcycle for 10 minutes to go to the lively place; there are not many dining options, you can try the first day or two, and the taste is okay; the suites by the swimming pool feel the best (picture D) Other common room types are a little bit. . . ; Overall I find it worth trying.

This was a really nice exclusive resort. With beautiful scenery. Place very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was good only negative was food was pricey for such small portion. But a really nice hidden treasure. I would definitely go back here again thank you for such a nice time.

A bit far from the busy Alona Beach,it's good for a traveler who needs a quiet place 🤫.it has a best breakfast(buffet style) 😋
