Stayed for 3 days and was a bit far from Alona Beach, but fortunately there was a free shuttle bus at the hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are very new, and the complimentary breakfast is not bad. But the hotel is surrounded by villages, dirty and messy, the road to the hotel turned out to be a dirt road, the tap water and the water in the pool are all unpurified sea water, a bit salty, the whole of the island of Bohol. With a 12-year-old child, there is no extra bed, and 800p per night, which is a bit expensive. Since I go out to play every day, the overall situation is not bad, the environment there is the same. The level of consumption is comparable to that of first-tier cities in China.

The service staff over there said that there was a problem with the water pressure in that room, but the manager has been directing customers and it has not improved.

Dining OK, can not expect too much from the local chef on the Philippine island.

Absolutely! A perfect place to relax is like finding an oasis amidst the chaos of everyday life. Our 2nd Team building and Christmas party was held here. Very few comments. The location is on the west side of Panglao Island, very quiet and not noisy. Because there are too many people in Alona Beach, the picture has been chosen here. The terminal tutu comes over 300P, go back to the dock to get 350P, go to Alona Beach 200P. A total of more than a dozen rooms, a few days to go are basically full, more European and American guests. The waiters are very nice and responsive. There is a private beach but it is not suitable for swimming. There are many seaweeds, but there are few places in the world, but you can use the hotel’s dinghy to play in the sea. Around the nearest 711 and lively places have to go for ten minutes, when it comes to rain, do not go out to eat at the hotel, meals are not bad. If you get up early in the morning, you can greet the hotel in advance to prepare a sandwich or something, or prepare the fridge in the room in advance. The pool is a little smaller and deeper, reminding people who are going to swim to be careful not to be scratched by tiles. feels pretty good in general.

The little black Rodney in the hotel is very warm, caring, helping us arrange a day trip, the price is also super cheap, adults and children are very fond of him, highly recommended! The room was nice, really secluded, but the road from the hotel to the main road was very bumpy, and there was not room service every day. You have to talk to the staff, they are super nice, and you can also rent a motorcycle from them. Overall, the price is really cost-effective!

The room was as advertised, the size was correct and as we selected the king bed ocean view, the big balcony was perfect to enjoy the view. We loved the pools.
The hotel location is quiet, if you don’t mind the neighbourhood roosters (pretty much everywhere).
As the hotel is located a bit far from the town though, they provide a complementary shuttle to get to go to the beach. Of you want more freedom and as a tuk tuk ride cost around 200P one way, we would recommend renting a scooter to go around.
We rented one at the hotel (Suzuki Bugman street) for 400P, it’s 50P more than what you could get in town, but it’s convenient. The scooter carried both of us to the chocolate hills, and all other places we wanted to see.
The breakfasts were pretty straightforward with three choices, Filipino Tosilog (more a grilled porc), a continental that was my choice after trying the tosilog, and an Asian one, my partner tried the dumpling and well this was a real disappoin**ent.
There is one thing I really didn’t liked is that the coffee isn’t brewed, then if you want a small cup of brewed is 150P and the juice is additional charge of 190P. All hotel everywhere have brewed coffee and juice included with breakfast. Something I told the hotel’s owner.
Would we recommend that hotel?
Definitely yes, for the room, the view, the staff.

GGuest UserThis resort is a huge surprise! The premier rooms are exclusive and private with one pool. The balcony is right on top of the river bay but I didn’t find any mosquitoes! Netflix is also a plus with its big Samsung TV as we watched a new Korean series. It’s also very cool at night. The other thing is there’s a big tree surrounded by a lot of fireflies. We didn’t need to take a boat ride to watch them at all!!! There’s also a jogging path very pristine. We’ll definitely go back.
The only downside is the service at the lobby. It seems like a family business so the efficiency was not quite as good as in branded resorts. But anyway we were super happy during the stay.

I found it really hard to get anything accomplished asking for ice too for ages then when I did saying a 50 peso bill for ice 🙄 the pool is small but you do get your own beach access and the location is quite as compared to the main part of the town which is too much noise and party.
I really liked the rooms and decor it felt modern and clean
The breakfast was ok just make sure to ask for what ever you want to be cooked fresh as the food left out is cold and or been left for long time.
The gym is good but could do with some more equipment.
Local shops are by the entrance for cheaper snacks and drinks

GGuest UserThis is a homestay, near the pier to the sea, walk in, there are 7-11 and McDonald's, the location can also be cleaned every day, but there is no toothbrush, you have to prepare this yourself, there is a public swimming pool, the environment is OK Breakfast is okay, it ’s calculated by head. I do n’t know if I can order one more. I was in a hurry to catch the boat and leave. Overall, the price is good, but I live on the first floor. There are a lot of mosquitoes!

The swimming pool downstairs is also very clean, and there are many buoys of various shapes in it, which can be photographed hahaha. The breakfast is very simple but the taste is not bad. I finally had white porridge on the island. I was touched. T T The little brothers and sisters at the front desk are also very enthusiastic. They will help you solve any problems~ The hotel is directly opposite their diving shop. Go out and turn right for five minutes I went to the seaside before I arrived, and I went to experience diving. It was so beautiful under the sea. Next time, I will come to learn a diving certificate.

I stayed in the newer one which is Hayahay Resort at Genesis. I highly recommend this resort over the other due to its modern design and new amenities. Also, it costs the same price as the older one.

GGuest UserI had an early morning flight, so I stayed here to rest for a while, but I was embarrassed because the electrical cord didn't work properly. There were many winged insects that looked like ants.
I have no intention of visiting again and the massage place in front of the accommodation is very good.

GGuest UserWe booked a superior deluxe room, after the room allocation we found that the bathroom smelled unbearably. After upgrading to a deluxe room, this problem went away. We then paid an additional 600 pesos per day for the upgrade. The whole hotel is more suitable for locals, big renovation backlog. When taking a shower, the water ran onto the bathroom floor and remained there as a large puddle, since the drain was higher than floor level. When using the toilet, the legs were then in the puddle. A bath mat was missing. There were no pool towels, no cups and only one glass. Kettle was available. Breakfast was a fried egg, a cup of rice, a slice of questionable ham and some fruit. Or a fried egg, two slices of toast, some jam and butter, a slice of questionable ham and some fruit. You could get coffee and drinks yourself. The pool was good and is attractively designed. The beach is beautiful and is cleaned by the staff.
The WLAN access written at the reception only worked there, not in the rooms and not in the restaurant. On the last day shortly before departure we found out about a different WLAN connection. This worked in the restaurant and at the pool but not in the room.

Doljo Beach
木木风笛Doljo Beach is the westernmost beach of Banglau Island. Personally, it feels like the most beautiful place to see sunset on the island. It is about 4 kilometers away from Arona Beach and it takes 5 minutes to ride a motorcycle. The beach is quite primitive, and there are very few tourists. Inside the beach there is a church which looks old.
