Hotel Rio Malecon

We just spent 2 weeks at Hotel Rio. The best location, the best rooms and the best bar and restaurant. Thank you Carlos and the crew at Coexist (Kevin, Niva and Nacho) for our 2 weeks so good. Rooms very nice, we had a corner king with a wrap around balcony. The food and cocktails at the restaurant is top notch. We had breakfast lunch and dinner during our stay and food was very good. You can’t beat the location. Thank you Hotel Rio for such a wonderful vacation. Before we left we made our reservations for February 2025
Hotel Mousai - Adults Only

the hotel is an absolute beauty. From the moment we stepped off the transportation we were blown away. The grounds are amazing and the cobblestones add a unique touch of Puerto Vallarta. The design inside the entrance was beautifully unique. we waited for our concierge and was checked in quickly. Once we received our bracelets we headed to our room for an amazing view situated on the mountain side with a view of the ocean. our room had a mini bar and a hot tub on the patio. Our room was so warm and inviting that we didn't want to leave it. The hotel took note of our anniversary celebration by providing chocolate covered strawberries and champagne on ice. Totally amazing . Our butler Greta was so professional and took care of all our dinner arrangements. She made sure to mention our celebration and we received the recognition with a small cake. So classy. We had an amazing time and plan to return again next year. Thank you hotel staff for making this an amazing vacation. Bravo!! The Segovia's
Crown Paradise Golden All Inclusive Resort - Adults Only
3.6/5100 Reviews
This is an affordable all-inclusive place to stay with a nice beach for swimming and sitting on the sand. There isn't much shade but you can rent a beach umbrella and chairs. The lobby and buffet are open air so it can get really hot during the warmer months. The food was safe, but unremarkable. There was a good variety of choices everyday and each night at the buffet had a theme, such as Mexican, Seafood night and BBQ to name three. We were there at the beginning of October and the weather was still quite hot and the Air Conditioning in the inside restaurants was not quite strong enough to cool the place down, but the servers were excellent. I was worried before arriving that the hotel would be noisy at night, but they have a night club for the resort across the street for all of the late night partiers making the hotel a quiet place to rest and sleep. However, one of the elevators must have been over something very stinky because most of the time, there was a smell of sewer for a lot of our rides. It was the elevator that was for the rooms on the beach front side of the hotel that went up to the 7th floor. The other elevator in that section only went up to the 6th floor. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on a top floor with roof exposure so our room was never able to cool down below 77 degrees despite the hotel's efforts to fix the AC so I had difficulty sleeping. I understand the lower rooms were nice and cool for sleeping. The maid did a great job keeping our room clean! This is a great place to stay for those who like a busy active beach area. It is centrally located which makes it easy to go into town or access tours. The hotel staff was great. If you want a more relaxing, quieter beach and pool, you will probably need to go elsewhere.
Los Arcos Suites

We stayed at Los Arcos Suites which is part of Hotel Los Arcos in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. We stayed from December 6, 2023 to March 27, 2024. The people that work at the hotel are really excellent including: Hilda and Marta, Reservations; Miguel Gradilla, Concierge; Mirella Fragoso, Front Desk; Magda Gomez, Special Events. Other people that were very helpful to us during our stay include Luis, Miguel, Jorge, Adriane (Activity Director). A very special person is Soledad, who looked after keeping our room beautiful and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the Happy Hour (6:00 - 8:00 p.m.) at El Publico Restaurant. We are looking forward to our next visit.
BellView Hotel Boutique

We had a wonderful stay at the bellview in PV. From the friendly and helpful front desk to the attentive waiters in the amazing Capella restaurant, the service was impeccable. Daniella and Chantal in the front office offered a wealth of information and we’re always present to assist us with a smile. Truly appreciated. We were celebrating a birthday and the front desk sent the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries to our room. We also had dinner in the restaurant, and enjoyed the strolling violinists and the delicious food served facing the fabulous view and sunset. One day we had forgotten to turn our “make the room sign” and when we returned late afternoon we wanted to get some fresh towels and within just a few minutes, someone came to refresh our bathroom. The hotel itself is quaint and tastefully appointed with each room having its own charm. Ours had an exceptionally large balcony o overlooking Our lady of Guadalupe church. In addition to being large we enjoyed having a veranda complete with a fountain ( hence the name fuente Milagros) Bedding was firm just the way we like it. Overall a great stay! We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place.
Casa Doña Susana
4.2/5102 Reviews
We visited Puerto Vallarta a few months ago and stayed at the Arcos Suites Hotel. We loved it so much that I decided to book this trip at Dona Susana for my husbands bday. The staff makes you feel so welcomed and attentive to all your needs since this hotel is partnered with los Arcos Hotel and los Arcos Suites. However, our stay at Dona Susana disappointed us. Our room smelled like fresh paint, the bed was so uncomfortable. We barely slept the days we stayed there. I booked a second room to see if our bed was the only one hard to sleep in, but I found out they all are the same. Another issue we had was the use of the pool. I got a skin rush all over my body and my husband got an ear infection after using the pool. I don’t know when was the last time they cleaned it. We opted for the all inclusive at that hotel but it’s useless because you don’t have access to anything there. You have to walk to the other hotel to use the all inclusive benefits. I don’t recommend to get that package unless you stay at the Los Arcos Hotel. The bar at Dona Susana rooftop was closed for no reason given. Overall, would I stay at this hotel again? Yes, only if changes are made for the things we hated because the hotel is well located, the staff are very welcoming, the hotel is nice itself. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5 stars.
