The motel is conveniently located on Highway 75. We stayed here a few years ago before it was a Quality Inn. They have fixed it up quite a bit since then. Our room is nice with a king size bed, a desk and an easy chair. There is a lot of highway noise. The lady at the desk gave us a room at the back to be away from it. There was no elevator. We’ve had such problems with noisy neighbors the last few years. I always request a room on the top floor, even if we have to lug our stuff upstairs. We had a comfortable bed and a quiet room. They served a very good hot breakfast with sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy.

I got a room with 1 bed and a pull out bed on a couch. I took the top sheet off the bed to put on the pull out bed and found blood on my bed. It was not a whole lot of blood.... but it was still blood nonetheless. I talked to the night time receptionist and she assured me to speak with the manager in the morning and something would be done because they had no rooms available and I couldn’t have my 4 year old sleep in the car. We slept on the pull out couch and when I went to speak with the manager the next morning I was treated as if it was my fault. She told me there was nothing she could do or was willing to do because I booked through Hotels.com. Karina (the “general manager”) absolutely refused to help me in anyway. She called the police to have me leave when I became frustrated of the situation. Fast forward 3 days. I have spoken to person after person. And turns out Karina has all the control to issue a refund of any kind. And has denied it multiple times. I didn’t expect my money back or anything for that matter. But I did expect some common courtesy and maybe some respect as a human being who had to deal with someone else’s blood. I was dismissed and treated very poorly. In all of that Karina didn’t even say “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” one time. I would not recommend wasting your time or your money on this facility. It wasn’t worth even a sliver of the $200 I paid and the customer service? Don’t get me started. Very very sad this is where we had to start our vacation.

The hotel was clean, and very appealing. The bed not so much. It looked comfy but it was terrible! No one slept good. The location was great for us, as was the man at check in.. I forget his name. He was also there the next day. He gave us tips for fun things to do as well as making conversation with us. He was very kind and helpful. Also, I understand that the hotel can’t-really do much about it, but there must have been a tournament or something going on and between the kids yelling down the halls, letting people into the pool, when we had to make an appointment to use it, and knocking on our door at 1AM because they thought it was their room, was very frustrating. But I would definitely use this hotel again.

Upon arrival I had to ask for a room upgrade 5 times before the front desk clerk actually heard me. Mind you my voice carries when I whisper but for some reason she couldn't hear me and we were face to face. Front desk also didn't add member number so I could receive my points. Ac didn't cool my room until around 5am , toilet ran water alllll night. However the appearance of this particular location was nice. The owner was not pleasant. Stared us down as if we were criminals,never said hello, never asked if we needed anything never smiled never just glared at us. I'm real big on customer service and when a owner conducts himself in that manner I definitely will not be giving him my business again. I asked the morning clerk what his deal was towards me why is he staring and frown glaring so much she told me it was a free country they can look at the guest however they choose. I was just out done by the staff except the over night person that brought up 2 waters.

We had a very long travel day and just wanted to relax and watch television before another long travel day ahead. Unfortunately, the television screen kept freezing up on every channel therefore, we did not get to enjoy the relaxing evening we had planned. Upon speaking with the front desk, I was informed that they had been experiencing issues for a while with the antenna in use for the second floor. He said he could move us to another room but could not guarantee the television would work. We were already unpacked and dressed for bed to relax and watch television so the last thing we wanted to do was re-dress, pack-up and move with no guarantee. He told me to ask for a certain front desk person who would be on duty the following morning and that she would address the inconvenience we experienced. When I spoke with her, she advised me that there was nothing she could offer. It is totally unacceptable that a hotel of this caliber would have an entire floor with an unresolved antenna issue leaving guests without access to a basic amenity. We stay at this property every year (some years multiple stays) and have yet to experience anything negative. It is unfortunate that we did during this stay, and nothing more than an apology was offered.

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend for 3 nights. Hotel was clean and had great amenities. Hotel staff was hit and miss as far as politeness. During this weekend the hotel lost hot water for several days. I felt sorry for the front desk staff as they were getting the brunt of people pissed off about cold showers. They handled it well. I was told that we would be compensated for the loss of hot water. When I checked out the front desk person said “your all checked out” I then had to ask for a bill so I could see what I was charged. Nope, full bill and had to ask for my compensation. Manager was less than polite. Maybe the compensation was coming out of his pocket? Or just a bad day. Just a brisk, “Do you want points or compensation?” Anyway, less than stellar stay. Also, if you have to decide whether or not to eat breakfast at the hotel or not, don’t. Worst breakfast at a hotel I’ve had in ages. I can usually find something decent to eat, not here. Bagels have been frozen for ages, even toasted wouldn’t breathe life in those suckers!

TTAOThe surrounding commercial facilities are complete, the front desk is warm and the service is fast. There is free parking. Twin room, microwave oven. The bathroom sensor light is not working, it is lighted 10 times, there is a bathtub, and the tissue box is empty for 5 sheets. The experience is not good. Breakfast is good, few people~

FFaststayIf you are like me, you have a fondness for the Holiday Inn Express brand due to their bright and white themes and customer conveniences. This location is neither. The colors are old, mustards, and dark browns, with plenty of rust on bathroom fixtures, scratches on furniture, and a microwave oven straight from the 70’s. Conveniences are gone as it would appear the owners are doing anything and everything in their power to save a dime: equipment in the workout center is out of order and the water cooler is missing the water. Towels in the pool area are non-existent, available only by checking in at the front desk. The small bottle of body lotion in the room was only half full - (leftover from a previous guest?) and the microwave left food stone cold. Breakfast was drab and though the advertised time was until 9:00 AM, the worker was closing the area down at 8:58 and exiting the area at 9:02. Clearly zero interest in hospitality. You should also know that the third & fourth floors are both being renovated, so neither of these floors are available. This construction makes for a dismal view out the room window. I did learn one thing though. I chose this location after studying Trip Adviser and seeing twenty straight 5 star reviews. After looking at the reviews again, I noticed the majority of these reviewers only made one contribution to Trip Adviser, and that was to praise this hotel. I leave you to form your own opinion with this information.
