I do enjoy stopping here, it's such a relaxed place to say it's so close to the city centre. A stylish, modern hotel with great beds and roll top baths! Parking is also provided. Tea, coffee and biscuits plus water await you in the room. The rooms are large and very well decorated with some really nice quirky touches. A number of rooms are available on the ground floor as well.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate it. Here at Peach, we love what we do and we are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Decided on a change from my usual hotel in Edgbaston and I really wanted to like this place so I could add it to my list of regular places to stay. However the room was disappointing. It felt dark dreary and cramped. Was promised a city view and the only window looked out onto a roof and wall of the hotel. Room 10. A quick room check revealed a large bogey on the duvet which was gross so I had to call the restaurant (hotel is not manned) to come and change it. Admittedly they apologised and did so straight away but it made me very squeamish about the general cleanliness of the place. I didn’t want to use the glasses or cups without washing them first or walk on the carpet without food. There was no hot water on the afternoon and evening of arrival it and the plug in the washbasin wasn’t working so I couldn’t fill up the sink either. The water was warmer the following morning but by no means hot. The bedside lamps are huge and take up most of the room on the bedside table so not much room if you want to keep your phone and a kindle and a glass on there too. There were plenty of towels (which seemed clean) but no face cloths. Plenty of coffee and tea. Hairdryer and other amenities. The TV was a smart TV but there was no facility to mirror an iPad or any apps to log into. The radio kept buffering. The communal lounge area was nice and fresh milk provided to take to your room for tea. However there were lots of scent diffusers and air freshener plug in all the corridors which was nauseously overwhelming. It made me wonder what they were trying to cover up. The hotel is noisy. You are completely reliant on how quiet the other guests are as there are a lot of doors in close proximity (all fire doors and all bang shut). There were people talking loudly in the corridors til after midnight and coming and going between rooms so until they stopped you simply couldn’t get to sleep. With no reception staff there’s nothing you can do about it other than ask them to be quiet yourself. As a single female traveller I didn’t want to do that. The sister restaurant is lovely and the food and service great as always. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for something to eat but there was absolutely no way I would want to stay over in the town house again which was disappointing. The staff were made aware of my feelings and they did apologise but that’s as far as it went. No discount on the stay or any meal, no voucher for money off in the restaurant if I returned for example, but I guess they knew there was no way I was coming back so didn’t bother. There are much nicer, cleaner, quieter places to stay in the area for a similar priceband.

We found this hotel by luck as it was almost half way for us to meet with friends that we had previously met on a cruise that lied in the north of England. They offered a package of dinner bed and breakfast which we thought was perfect for our reunion. Having arrived mid afternoon, we were delighted that parking was all inclusive and plenty of space and then followed the guidance to access our hotel room. It is the first time we had stayed in a hotel without a 'Reception' before but the access code to get into the main hotel and then into our room was simple to use. There was a main lounge to the right on entry to the hotel that supplied water / milk for teas and coffees etc. We could not fault the room - immaculate, with large comfortable bed, an enormous bathroom and separate WC. Next door to the accommodation was the bar / restaurant with lovely gardens with lots of outside seating and some wooden pergolas with heaters where we enjoyed drinks before we went to change for dinner. Great menu choices and all the food was delicious both that evening and the following morning for breakfast. The highlight was the fact that breakfast was served up till 11.00 so great for a lie in. If ever we are up this way again we will return to this lovely hotel with lovely efficient and friendly staff!

Stayed in Room 4 which was really spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower. The room and public spacious were spotlessly clean. We had booked breakfast included. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The lady that served us at breakfast was friendly and welcoming as were all the staff we met during our visit. The hotel is about a 30-40min walk away from Edgbaston cricket ground with a free car park. We will definitely be booking here next time we visit for Birmingham for the cricket.

Booked to stay here whilst we were in Brum to see the Foo Fighters at Villa Park. It's in a lovely peaceful location, but only about 10'ish minutes walk to Broad Street. Free parking, great welcome from Rachel & fab room. We had a drink & some lunch at their bar/restaurant next door & received amazingly welcoming & friendly service from Lita - she is just the friendliest lady ever. Slept really well & enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast the morning after. We couldn't find fault with anything, we are definitely staying here the next time we are in Brum.

I stayed in the hotel as i was having a 6eye procedure in a nearby clinic. The hotel is separate from the bar. I arrived at the hotel at 8.05 pm on a Sunday looking to get some food after a delayed journey, but was told the kitchen closed at 8.00 pm. I suppose rules are rules and I managed to find a pub down the road that served food till later. The hotel rooms were spacious and well-equipped. The following morning I went for breakfast and went into the pub where I was quickly shown to a table. Despite there being only a table of four and me I was left and despite there being 8 staff no one came to my table, no menu, no coffee no good morning. After waiting for 15-20 minutes I managed to call someone over, by this time I was starting to worry about being late for my appointment. The lady who came was rather abrupt and I felt I was bothering her. After this encounter, I decided to get up and leave. During my wait I listened to the staff discuss their breakfast, who was cooking it and when they would eat......... It's a shame as the hotel was let down by the service and it had the feeling of a lack of management.

Incredible room, incredible value. Where to start? Great parking, good location, it's almost impossible to find fault. The place is delightful, comfortable, great rooms, fantastic decor, clean, polite staff, quiet, even the breakfast in the almost adjacent pub was first rate/ This was a real find and I would have no hesitation going there again... if possible, book one of the larger rooms, they are truly exceptional

The Highfield Townhouse was even better than the pictures. Absolutely loved staying there and will only back there when in Birmingham. Took a room with a victorian bath in the room and that was a great move. Breakfast was also superb and staff all lovely

The hotel was everything I expected and more. There were no niggles and it was quiet. Facilities were good. Staff were attentive and food was good next door in the Highfield pub. This is a good part of Edgbaston off the main road and surrounded by great places to eat for all budgets

A 3 night stay with my sister and didn’t want to leave. What a great little hotel, lovely room, very clean, fresh milk on reception for drinks, tasty breakfast and the loveliest staff. Very well located, tram into Birmingham worked well and also recommend the restaurant opposite for afternoon tea, as well as the Highfield pub itself. Will definitely be back

Wonderful hotel. Stylish and everything that could be needed with attention to detail. Lots of thought regarding the environment. The breakfast was delicious with lots to offer and staff super friendly. Ideal location, 5 mins to the tram. We were away for a shopping and theatre weekend and the hotel made the weekend.
