Hôtel Restaurant le Saint-Christophe

We used St Christophe as a base for 7 days, whilst conducting a ski safari, visiting several Swiss resorts. Our positive experience was the staff who were all extremely helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent and I imagine it is why most visitors come here. They stock a superb wine list and the whole dining experience is most atmospheric, if a little pricey. However, the bedrooms are in need of an update and are somewhat below par. The lumpy pillows need to be replaced and our bedside lamp looked like someone had set fire to it. The real killer blow was a lack of hot water for 4 of our 7 nights – not what you need after a hard days skiing. Were it not for the friendliness of the staff, we would have moved elsewhere. I fear other travellers may not be so forgiving.
