"Firstly, the staff at the front desk is not friendly or welcoming. The staff from the breakfast room is much engaging, smiley and friendly in general. The front desk should take lessons from them!
The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would suggest that you have another protein option for non-veg eaters like a chicken dish. Otherwise, it very nice.
The room was not what I viewed in the photos while booking. It was dark with wood paneling and it felt as if the walls were caving in. The room could use some white painted walls to make it feel bright and fresh. The bathroom also needs an upgrade- it's a bit dingy. The towels have seen better days- the bathmat was dingy and grey- a bit gross but we survived.
The pool is very nice but all the lounge chairs are right next to one another. And, there are only 8 for all of those guests? Umbrellas should be replaced with white ones so that they don't fade in the sun- good hack. "
"Tourist spots are concentrated. The restaurant at the hotel was delicious and I used it many times during my stay. The room was well cleaned and clean. The family was happy."
"This resort has the potential to be good as it looks well, has a decent pool area and the rooms are well proportioned. There is just something missing in the fine detail of running a resort.
Breakfast was decent but we found dinners disappointing, particularly the risotto which was delivered cold and then seemingly microwaved when we pointed this out.
We attended a Sao Joao pool celebration which was a bit disappointing, it supposedly started at 12.30 but decorations were still going up at 1pm.
Most disappointing was when we arrived very early due to a night train arriving four hours early but we’re not offered as much as a glass of water and when we asked if our bags could be stored whilst we purchased breakfast we were told no and just to eat poolside. Saying that most other staff we dealt with were friendly."
"I had a fantastic stay at Martin's Comfort. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the food and live music of Martin's Corner, Morning breakfast, and the Swimming Pool. The attention to detail and overall ambiance made it a truly relaxing experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. Can’t wait to return!"
"Far from the beach (3 km), but there is a transfer from the hotel upon request at a time.
Breakfasts are great!!! better than other hotels - choice of dishes and even has a coffee machine....which is very rare in India (though for an additional fee)
they provide beach towels - also not often in India
water in the room, internet
Nearby there is a shop with drinks and a mini market
Nearby there is an excellent cafe FISHKA - the best place for dinner in Goa that we visited - I recommend it to everyone
Overall, the best hotel of the three in Goa that we visited during our 12-day vacation and at the same time cheaper than the others.
I recommend"
"This hotel in Goa is a great option for those who don't want to overpay! Yes, the rooms are simple, in some places you can see that it's not new, but everything is clean and tidy. Beautiful territory, 7-10 minutes to the beach (there is a transfer). The beach is good. There are cafes with sun loungers. The hotel has modest, but overall good breakfasts. At first we thought that the hotel was so-so, but after moving to another one (because there were no available rooms for all the dates of our stay), for the same price with a rating of 4.6! with terrible breakfasts with swarms of flies, smelly and leaking air conditioning, dirty pool, ancient furniture and plumbing, we realized that the first hotel is just a bomb for 350 yuan! I advise everyone who is looking for a budget holiday with comfort! 👍"
"The resort is no longer new, with all the outflows. Eco-homes are exhausted, light is small, lots of small faults, but overall everything is good. Sound isolation, however, between the related huts is simply none. Hearing literally everything. Beds are clean, towels are clean, but with spots. Restaurant cooks delicious and cheap. The cook understands that it is not necessary to cook acutely for Russians. Unlike the cooks in the cafes on the shore. Breakfasts are uniform, but saturated. Russians are many. Maybe most. The hotel organizes a transfer from the airport, but the price is significantly more expensive than the taxi. The pool is clean. More than 600 metres walking, it is normal. The path to the sea, naturally, is placed among the trash piles. But it is more likely to be a feature of all India. There are no special sights nearby. In general, the normal option for cheap beach recreation."
"Breakfast was superb. Chef prepares food in front of you. Pool, villa and overall property is clean and neat. Towels are replaced everyday. Friendly owner and staff. 24*7 security person at the property, cameras are in place. Centrally located. Most of the sights are at a distance of 40-45 mins away on two-wheeler."
