Loved the stay - great rooms economical price close to spectacular seafood dining at Martin’s Corner restaurant - breakfast options were great facility including pool was nice

After returning to Martin's for the first time since 2014 we were curious to see if the hotel had changed. We needn't have worried as the staff, service and rooms were first class and nothing was too much trouble, another really great stay.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed.
The tv / cable was broken, the rooms looking very dated and lacking any atmosphere. The soap dispenses in the shower were empty and the shower easily flooded.
I wouldn’t return for sure.

I have never stayed in such a filthy hotel in my life. We found black mould in all the rooms on the walls and particularly in the bathrooms. the refrigerators were un-usable with contamination. When the hotel ***agement was asked to clean the rooms they made a half hearted attempt to clean the rooms. We had to show the staff how to clean and even then the rooms were only just habitable. The swimming pool had serious safety issues that were highlighted to the ***agement and then ignored by them. The whole site is running with rats. I don't recommend anyone staying at this hotel ever. and I would also recommend that any pictures of hotel rooms on their web are carefully examined as the pictures of the "Martins Comfort" hotel are completely misleading. Loved our stay here.Comfortable clean room .Pleasant attentive staff.Great location about 15 min walk to lovely beach. Lovely swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas .Also a good breakfast buffet included, with eggs cooked to order. Will definitely return.

The property is misrepresented on the ******* web site. it has no lift, the rooms are disgustingly dirty and unhygienic. The staff are incapable of cleaning the rooms due to poor training. The Breakfast offering is very poor. The pool is a health and safety nightmare and the hotel is rat infested.

The property is very beautiful and well located but needs serious rehauling as far as the furniture and bathrooms are concerned. The staff is amazing - Mr Pratap, Ms Svetlana and others but the upkeep was very disappointing.

Room really needs a make over and the bathroom needs to be totally redone. Mold everywhere and simple cleaning would get this solved. Too bad as it's quite charming hotel
