This hotel was in a lovely area for walking with stores and restaurants nearby. We LOVED the staff. They were so helpful and kind. The restaurant, called Darling, was delicious. Our waiter helped with menu selection since we did not speak German. All the choices were wonderful. We were in Bern for an extended time and appreciated the kitchen and sitting areas in our spacious suite. This is a small hotel with personal service. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful modern hotel with apartment-style rooms. Lots of great facilities including a hairdresser, small convenience shop, kiosk, and skateboards to rent. Very close to the old town in a quiet neighbourhood - very peaceful!

Very friendly reception, nicely decorated room and a comfortable lounge. The self-service kiosk was practical. Unfortunately my room was very noisy as it was directly above the terrace of the neighboring restaurant. Conversations could not be understood in detail and lasted until just before midnight.

We took the XXL room (3 children and 2 adults) which was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff is very welcoming and gives good advice. Well located, tram, shops, restaurants nearby. We can only recommend it!

Very friendly and courteous staff at reception, very clean and well-equipped room, well located! You can have breakfast in the bakery very close by. It would be nice if the reception was open longer, especially for women travelling alone, this would increase the feeling of security.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is in a good location and you can get there quickly using public transport! Very friendly staff and nicely decorated rooms. Very nice bathroom too!

I was disappointed with what I found at the Alpenblick. The rooms have been renovated but otherwise it is not as it used to be. Breakfast is put in a basket in front of your room door (contents 1 fruit, 1 orange juice, 1 Bircher muesli (very large), 1 croissant, 1 roll). You have to make your own coffee/tea in your room. This information about breakfast is very hidden on the website. I was only told about it when I made the reservation. Reason: The restaurant is no longer part of the hotel! The reception culture of DU really bothered me. I don't want to be addressed informally! More sensitivity is needed. Some rooms are directly above the garden terrace. The noise there was enormous - sleeping was impossible. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. For the reasons mentioned, I can no longer recommend the Alpenblick.

Finally, my favorite hotel in Bern is back! And with even better service! Great. The rooms are still so beautiful, the staff friendly and accommodating. The option to book rooms with a kitchenette is really interesting.

Everything was tip-top. Check-in was quick, good and friendly. Garage used, easily accessible, reasonable price. Rooms clean, well designed. Breakfast very good with a large selection; pleasant room. Check-out quick.
