The room is well-equipped but a bit dilapidated, the lighting is dim, and the children said the bed was not very comfortable. From the room, you can see the geothermal smoke all around outside the window, and the scenery is beautiful.

The location of the hotel is relatively remote, on the mountainside, so you must drive by yourself. I stayed in 301, the highest is 701. The room was very big, with a view to the sea. I stayed one night with my wife. The room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bed and bathroom. However, as the hotel was being completely renovated, there were towers and nets placed around the outside of the hotel, so unfortunately we couldn't see the beautiful view of Beppu Bay from inside. For dinner, we had Nanairo Kaiseki, a Japanese dish made with ingredients from Oita. We had a delicious and enjoyable time, including the Oita sake that was recommended to us. You can't enjoy the scenery at the open-air hot spring, but the hot spring itself was pleasant, including the temperature. I think overall satisfaction and cost performance were high.
