I stayed one night with my wife. The room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bed and bathroom. However, as the hotel was being completely renovated, there were towers and nets placed around the outside of the hotel, so unfortunately we couldn't see the beautiful view of Beppu Bay from inside. For dinner, we had Nanairo Kaiseki, a Japanese dish made with ingredients from Oita. We had a delicious and enjoyable time, including the Oita sake that was recommended to us. You can't enjoy the scenery at the open-air hot spring, but the hot spring itself was pleasant, including the temperature. I think overall satisfaction and cost performance were high.
