Excellent Hotel

Very nice and tidy

The room is very nice, two floors, 4-5 people can stay (it seems that our room can accommodate up to 5 people), microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, everything is available, we stayed in the "Dou", there are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, but the outdoor one is a bit cold, so I didn't soak in it. In addition to the hot spring pool, there is also a sweat steam indoor. It is really a very good hotel. The only bad thing is that there is a safety hazard. There is no front desk after 8 pm, and it is up to the customers to lock the door themselves. The place is relatively remote and a bit creepy. Turn right and then turn left when you go out of the hotel, there is a ramen restaurant, which is quite convenient for eating. There are also Don Quijote and Youme on the road towards Beppu Tower, which is very convenient for shopping.

The location is not far away but relatively hidden. It is not far from the most lively places in Beppu, Beppu Tower and the seaside beach. The hotel rooms are duplexes. Downstairs is the living room and two indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. Upstairs is the living room and bedroom. The area is very spacious and very comfortable for two people. The price does not include meals, but there are places to eat around.

Facilities: The whole is a villa! The front desk gave the key 🔑 Check-in at 3 pm. The room has indoor and outdoor private hot springs! Before checking in, I helped to put water (the water temperature is too suitable). After soaking in the hot outdoor one, soak in the indoor one! Japanese bathrobes are provided. It is the largest bathroom I have ever seen! Downstairs is the living room, bathroom and toilet! Upstairs is the room (ours is a western-style house). Two people stay, but I think it can accommodate 5-6 people😂 Convenience: There is a bus stop to the Sea Hell Scenic Area 5 minutes away from the hotel! It only takes 15 minutes to walk here from Beppu Station! It is also very convenient for two people to drag luggage (if it doesn’t rain) and it is also easy to walk! Environment: The overall environment is first-class! Clean and tidy! The service at the front desk is very good, and they know a little English! They patiently explained how to get to various attractions~ and bowed 90 degrees before leaving. I really experienced the service quality of the Japanese

Location: There is a free parking space for parking at the entrance of the hotel, two or three minutes drive to Beppu ride, Beppu Park and other attractions. The room is Japanese-style design, but you have to lay your own bed.

Except for not providing meals, everything else is perfect.

Sure enough, the good reviews are true and I made the right choice. This time it was a self-driving trip, and it was only about ten minutes to drive to Umijigoku for sightseeing early the next morning. Highly recommend this hotel.

The overall hotel is very good, the environment is excellent, there is a hot spring pool inside and outside the room, the staff is very friendly, but the location is a little bit off. I personally tested it and it costs 650 yen to take a taxi from the west exit of Beppu Station to the accommodation, or you can use Google Maps to walk there. About 13 minutes.

Although the location is a bit far from the station, it is easy to find by looking at the map. You can consider staying here even if you don’t have a car~ The entire hotel is organized into cabins. I’m not sure if there are 7 or 9 cabins. Anyway, it’s within 9 cabins, so be sure to make a reservation early. Because I really wanted to stay, I booked a room even though there was only a smoking room left. Fortunately, there was no smell of smoke in the room at all, and the hygiene was very good! The room is super large and has a duplex. The TV has Netflix for all to watch. There is also a microwave, dishes and cutlery in the cupboard, which is perfect for shopping outside and eating back. After staying for two days, I was very satisfied just staying in the house and soaking in the hot springs. It's a very comfortable experience. I read previous reviews that there was only one old lady at the front desk, but I didn't have the opportunity to meet her and only talked to a female staff member. She was very polite and introduced us to many nearby famous places and restaurants. When checking in, she would explain a lot of equipment and precautions in the hotel and cabins at once. If you don’t understand Japanese, you will probably find it very painful 😂 because the explanation really took about ten minutes🤣 However, this hotel only supports Japanese, so it may be more inconvenient if you don’t understand. Please note that if you wish to arrive before 3pm to drop off your luggage, it is recommended to inform them first. On the day I checked in, I arrived an hour early and the front desk was empty. Fortunately, there were tables and chairs at the front desk where I could rest. If you were not in a hurry, you could wait there for a while. After completing the formalities, you will see this place when you enter. Even if you don't want to go all the way outside, you can still buy snacks and drinks here. The entire decoration, including the outdoor area, has a Japanese retro feel. I like it very much!
