Everyone from the security guards through to the owners were friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as pleasant as possible. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, especially the owners Judy and David. Our room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated with all the modern amenities you could need, including good wifi and air-conditioning. The attention to detail in preserving the building’s historic charm while ensuring contemporary comfort is impressive. We ended up chatting with David in the lobby, learning about the history of the building and this part of Belize. He also called in a food order delivery for us, which we enjoyed on our balcony. It was just what we needed for the night! If you’re looking for a comfortable and intimate stay in Belize City, One South Place is a hidden gem that should be at the top of your list.
