7 Days Inn (Beijing Temple of Heaven Dongmen Metro Station)

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen Beijing|1.31km from Tongren Pavilion
I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
The room was small and the soundproofing was not good. I forgot to take photos. The location is very good, very close to the subway station. There is a place to eat steamed buns nearby. The steamed buns taste really good. It is not a problem to have a smaller room when traveling, because it is just for sleeping and there is no big size requirement. The sound insulation is very poor. People with poor sleep quality are not recommended to choose this place.

very good! This is one of the things that made me very happy when I went to Beijing! It's very close to the Temple of Heaven, about ten minutes' walk. As soon as you enter, you will feel very warm, and then there will be waves of fragrance, which I like very much. The decoration inside is also quite simple and high-end. There are places to play inside. My sisters had a lot of fun. The accommodation environment is very good, I am very satisfied, and they upgraded us for free. The room aunt cleaned the room in a timely manner and the room was very clean. If I go to Beijing next time, this will be my first choice! !

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
Although the Hanting signboard is hung, it feels close to the standard of the whole season, at least the room facilities are almost the same. It is also convenient to play around. The opposite road is the Temple of Heaven Park, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the north gate. The roast duck in the restaurant downstairs is also very good.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
We originally chose this hotel because it is located at walking distance from the Temple of Heaven. Apart from that, there is nothing to do in the area, with just a few shops. We found the attached restaurant relatively expensive. The room was good but quite small and without a mini-fridge. Apparently we would get an upgrade for booking via trip com but we did not get any upgrade. English is not spoken at the property but we managed to checkin.

It was a great experience. The front desk staff were very professional and enthusiastic. The service was very good. There was tea service, warm water at check-out, and small gifts. The breakfast was rich and delicious. , there are waffles and hand pancakes that children like, there are many kinds of food, the wontons are also delicious, the breakfast is really good, and it is very popular with children. The room is also very clean and tidy, and the tables and countertops are very clean , the facilities and equipment are also very complete, including disposable slippers and safety cups, which are very safe to use. There is also a TV screen projection function, which is great for watching dramas. The wireless network in the room is also very easy to use. In short, it is very good and very cost-effective. Next Will stay here again
