Grand Hyatt Beijing

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|2.96km from The Seven Star Stone
Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Hope the next time we stay here sky guo would have fixed this feedback! Alongside with ensuring that luke warm pre made coffee will not be served. Absolutely charming sales director

7 Days Inn (Beijing Temple of Heaven Dongmen Metro Station)

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen Beijing|0.48km from The Seven Star Stone
I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Yaduo Hotel east gate of Tiantan Beijing

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen Beijing|0.97km from The Seven Star Stone
🍃Environment: The environment is very comfortable, no matter the room or the hotel lobby, there are small details carefully. There are stairs and slopes in the hotel lobby, which is convenient for pushing up and down with suitcases. The bathroom of the room is well separated from dry and wet. 🧹Hygienic: The whole is very clean. Clean the room every day, especially the bath towels and towels in the room are changed every day. If the paper towels are not enough, add enough. The first day we stayed in 2 bottles of water was not enough to drink. I bought a bucket of water. , Took the initiative to add 4 bottles of water to us 🚗 Transportation: There are subway and bus stations nearby, just a little far away. It takes 13 minutes to walk to Tiantan Dongmen subway station. It belongs to Line 5 and it is convenient to transfer to other lines. It is very close to Tiantan Park. Basically Go to the subway station and walk a bit forward to the east gate of Temple of Heaven Park 🔔Service: Both the young lady at the front desk, the aunt at the buffet breakfast, and even the aunts who clean the room are very enthusiastic. They will say hello in the morning, listen to your requests patiently, and even take the initiative to provide help. Check out Miss Yuanyi on the first day. I took the elderly with me and offered to join the membership. The members can book a room with breakfast, which helped me solve the worries about where to eat and what to eat every morning with the elderly. The young ladies at the front desk saw me carrying two big suitcases from the old man, and they took the initiative to help push the suitcase to the room. They were very considerate. All in all, this stay is very satisfied overall, next time I go to Beijing this is the first choice

Booked a hotel for Beijing travel, close to the Forbidden City and the museum, with many good services. Stayed in the annex building, no noise at night, air conditioning and beds are very good, the auntie cleaned very well, basically did not touch my things, slept very comfortably~ The wraps and beef noodles opposite are also good The only drawback: the shower sprays everywhere 😂 The wireless network is really a bit poor. Video calls are very laggy

The beauty at the front desk was warm and thoughtful. I was worried that there was no window on the first floor. I helped upgrade the room on the second floor for free. The environment in the store was elegant, the surrounding environment was quiet, there were many restaurants, about 15 minutes walk from the subway station, convenient for travel.

It was a great experience. The front desk staff were very professional and enthusiastic. The service was very good. There was tea service, warm water at check-out, and small gifts. The breakfast was rich and delicious. , there are waffles and hand pancakes that children like, there are many kinds of food, the wontons are also delicious, the breakfast is really good, and it is very popular with children. The room is also very clean and tidy, and the tables and countertops are very clean , the facilities and equipment are also very complete, including disposable slippers and safety cups, which are very safe to use. There is also a TV screen projection function, which is great for watching dramas. The wireless network in the room is also very easy to use. In short, it is very good and very cost-effective. Next Will stay here again
