I like hotels. But when we arrived, the room was not ready( 5 o’clock pm) because it was not been cleaned sofa 😂 and we had to change to another room because I am super tired after airport and don’t can wait. The day after we returned from Universal Studios, no one again not to cleaned our room😅. No problem, maybe the cleaner is super busy. But staff super nice and friendly 👍 hotel very beautiful. Breakfast delicious. Fish and pasta are also delicious if you want order to the room.

We booked this hotel for our friend’s bachelorette party. The location is right in the heart of Sanlitun, so you really can’t get a much better spot! 🤩 Only three of us slept in the room due to regulations, but the other 5 girls were able to check in as guests just for the party, and all went smoothly! The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the staff was very accommodating. We had a bit of confusion with the details of our booking, and a manager named Athena helped us sort everything out so smoothly. She made us feel welcomed, calm, and made our stay super comfortable. Fresh fruit was sent up to our room, and they accommodated us with extra champagne glasses.🥂 CHAO is such a luxurious hotel, and Athena was especially helpful and made our stay perfect. Thank you, Athena, and thank you CHAO! 💕

Clean hotel, good location because it’s very close to Sanlitun and subway, however, they are renovating currently, so it’s a bit inconvenient for taxi drop off and pick up. They have a gym, which is located in a different building. You have to go through the lobby and the restaurant to the other building to use the gym, which is a bit weird, since usually you go down with gym clothes. Walking through the lobby and restaurant with gym clothes is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise the hotel has spacious rooms and is very clean. Will come again.

We got an upgrade from a hotel room to an apartment with separate rooms, a huge living room, and a kitchen. What we love was the existence of a washing machine to keep our clothing clean. Nearby the hotel was the first Pizzahut store in China and we totally enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch there on some days. The only slight drawback was the proximity to the nearest metro station. As we visited during the winter month and there was no lift facility, we had to lug our luggage up the metro and walked about 20 minutes to get to the hotel. Thereafter, the staff shared with us that there is a bus stop near the hotel and we had been using the bus ever since there to escape from the cold. Overall a pleasant stay and recommended for family.

This hotel was exactly what we needed: warm bed with a good shower in a convenient location for tourism. We could not find a single spa nearby but there were plenty of Chinese and western restaurants. The bed we booked was advertised as a queen but was really a double- it may be just a translation error but we had to change rooms because we were way too cramped. The breakfast was sufficient and they also have something called a night snack served late in the evening but we did not try it. We also liked that there were plenty of beverages available and the staff was accommodating.

I have no complaints about the hotel. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a budget city hotel, and its clean. The breakfast isn’t bad. Boiled noodles or wontons. Rice, eggs, and a few other bits and pieces. I had an issue with my Beijing health kit, and the staff were very good at helping me to clear it. It did take a whole day however, so I was effectively quarantined. I would say don’t bother with Beijing right now, until everything goes back to normal.

One of my best memories while staying in Beijing. I have accidentally lost my passport and had to stay in BJ for a while. During that time the staffs were very supportive and caring. The hotel is clean and there’s room arranging everyday, 阿姨很好啊👍🏻。 the location is good, next to police station and sanlitun haha, next time I want to stay here too. The elevator is swiped. It is very inconvenient to give a room card. My wife and children are taking a bath. I have to go downstairs to get takeaway. I can pull the room card. The room is all black. The mobile phone signal in the room is very weak. It is hard to call. There is no tea bag. Bottled water is limited supply, or small bottles, there are two hangers. There's no place to hang clothes.

The hotel location is good for subway connection for PEK Airport and Gubei Watertown bus station, esp you don't need to take subway during morning rush hour, just less than 10min walking distance. The superior room size is just nice for 2 persons with luggages put on the floor. Currently no buffet breakfast as the restaurant is doing reno. Take subway exit C at Dongzhimen Station and walk about 500m to the hotel. The hotel near Ginza Mall, we had lunch and dinner at 1star Michelin Chinese restaurant Cui Hua Lou, nice food with reasonable price. To visit Forbidden City, need to book in advance, if not, not allowed to purchase ticket on the same day. Send email to bookingticket@dpm.org.cn to make reservation then collect ticket later. To visit many attractions and take subway, need to show passport for verification. Do not bring spray sanitizer bottle, not allowed for security reason.

The apartment is large, but the facilities are too old, the air conditioner is loud enough to be 25 degrees at the lowest, and it is hot at night. There is a bathtub, no separate shower, you have to stand in the bathtub shower without anti-slip mat. WIFI signals can be connected purely by luck, intermittently, and cell phone signals in the room are also poor (mobile + connected).
