Gubei Delin Water Town Boutique Villa (Gubeikou Water Town Scenic Area Branch)

Mr Yang (the owner) & his assistant (Mr Zhang) are very helpful, friendly & provided helpful assistance when required. The room we stayed in is very comfortable & has an excellent view of Simatai Great Wall (picture below showing sunrise from the window). The accommodation is well furnished with kettle, microwave, TV, washing machine & aircon system. Location is excellent as it is just to Gubei Water Town entrance.

This hotel is located outside of GuBei town but very near its entrance, which makes it very convenient. My friend and I were upgraded to a kind of a small flat rather than the room we were supposed to stay in, which was a nice attention. There were some traces from the previous customers in the bathroom but we didn’t mind because everything looked clean. The staff’s English was limited but they were very kind. Breakfast was also appreciated. When I booked the room I wasn’t sure if we wanted to have it. Fortunately, it was possible to order it as long as we asked for it a couple of hours in advance. It was a Chinese breakfast and I thought there was a lot of food for the low price, so I was very satisfied. There’s also a small convenience store within the "reception" and my friend really liked the free coffee. I learned too late that the hotel also offers a free shuttle to the parking lot, where the public bus that goes to the train station leaves from. I suggest you ask for it because the parking lot was farther than I thought it was. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and I recommend it!

I loved my stay here. It's very close to the entrance to the Watertown, the owner was very kind and helpful, and the room was massive with a great view over the Watertown and of the Great Wall. I even saw some of the drone show at night from the balcony. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom is Western style, and there was a water refill machine as well as a kettle for hot drinks. The room had plenty of space and everything a person needs for a night or two. It was also incredibly quiet at night, which I appreciated as a light sleeper. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Absolutely wonderful stay, we have been able to check-in early. Spacious room with a stunning view of The Great Wall. 5 minutes walk to the Water Town entrance.

In the room we couldn’t find any forks, spoons, knives. In some cupboards with kitchen utensils were contaminated with dead insects and dirt. The view from the balcony is spectacular to the Great Wall.

Great location, with the view on the Simatai great wall. Close to the entrance to Gubei Watertown. Has lots of restaurants in close proximity. There is a big refrigerator, microwave oven, washing machine and water dispenser in the room, everything for comfortable living.
