Receptionist insisted we opened our luggages wide open for her to scan inside, and we complied because we felt we had no choice. Even after she inspected our luggage and insisted on it, we would have kept our booking for the full 3 nights if the rooms were not so disgusting.
They lied to Trip.com and said they only scanned our luggage and our luggages were not opened as we objected. However, despite questioning why they needed to open our luggage, we did indeed comply and opened our luggage wide as she scanned as we typical Aussies who didn't want fuss. All 3 of our luggage were indeed opened at scanned. Omour jigsaw was for an 81 year old woman (my mother who poses no threats to anyone), my husband and mine, after midnight and exhausted. We had contacted the day before to let them know our flight would land around 11pm so we would be late.
We had booked 1 nt and then 2 nts in another booking that had free cancellation, just in case it was no good.
We only cancelled the other 2 nights because the rooms were so gross.

I wish Trip.com site would publish good AND BAD reviews.
If the site refuse to publish real reviews that are uncomplimentary, then things like this happen to people like us who have holiday experiences like this that almost ruin our stay in one city. So please publish all reviews, good AND bad.
The sink was cracked, walls were dirty, gross and had holes in them. Shower flooded when my husband tried to take a shower. Such a disappointment because we spent a long time choosing the hotel after reading lots of reviews.
