Avoiding the peak of the crowd, I chose to go to Mentougou’s courtyard with my girlfriends on weekdays. The courtyard is more spacious than expected, and the original wood color decoration is very refreshing. The water temperature of the private hot spring pool is very stable, and the pool is of moderate size, and there is no problem with the space for three adults to soak in it. After taking a bath, lying on the lazy sofa to bask in the sun, and watching the light and shadow of the bamboo forest through the floor-to-ceiling window of the master bedroom is really super healing. The owner’s intentions can be seen from the details of the courtyard design. Small scenery is designed for every position suitable for lying down, which can be used for both leisure and viewing. Breakfast is clear soup noodles, salad, and fried mackerel. Eat as you like, with nutritious and healthy combinations. The overall experience of this stay is beyond expectations, and I will come again.

As soon as I got off work on Friday, I drove to Mentougou to visit Qingshanxia for the second time. Last time, it was summer and I stayed at Xiaochi. The courtyard was filled with fairy mist, which gave me the feeling of a small bridge and flowing water in the Jiangnan water village. Every step was a scene, and the careful design of the owner of the courtyard was reflected everywhere. This time I chose Xiaochuang and experienced a different feeling. Xiaochuangyuan has 3 floors. The first floor is the bedroom, dining room and living room. The living room has a large tatami mat, which can be laid flat at will. There is still enough space for a family of three. The private hot spring bath is on the second floor. It is so leisurely and beautiful to soak in the private hot spring and look at the mountain view through the small window! I don’t know if Xiaochuang got its name from this. There is also a small terrace on the third floor. It is still a bit cold now. I looked at the village landscape and hurried down. It is still nice to bask in the sun when it gets warmer. The boss is still enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. I will come again.

A perfect homestay for families with kids! I will come again next time! I must praise Qingshanxia Private Hot Spring Homestay! We stayed in the small window courtyard with our two little monkeys. The large tatami at the entrance made the children scream and roll around. At night, they slept like "little pork chops" wrapped in quilts, which was very cute. The old mother finally didn't have to share the bed with the children! The hygiene is really impeccable, even people like me who have a little cleanliness can't find fault with it! The private hot spring pool is especially praised! It is larger than the average private hot spring homestay, and the whole family can soak in it without being crowded. The magical thing is that it is not stuffy at all even though it is indoors. After soaking, the skin is slippery and super comfortable~ The breakfast must be praised separately! The freshly cooked hot soup noodles are warm and fresh, and the fried fish pieces are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are served with crispy fresh vegetable salad and soft-boiled eggs. The children slurp the noodles, and even the picky eater usually rushes to eat the fish! The housekeeper is very considerate. When he heard that the soup noodles were not enough, he immediately cooked another bowl and sent it over! The air conditioning and floor heating will be turned on before check-in, and the temperature in the house is already 23℃ when you check in. It's amazing to take a walk along the path behind the B&B in the evening! Listening to the sound of the river, looking up, you can see the layers of mountain shadows, and the children can play with stones for half an hour. If the housekeeper hadn't reminded me to check out, I really want to stay for another week! I have recommended it to my girlfriends. It is really suitable for families with children~

Their private bath pool is the largest pool in the private bath B&Bs I have stayed in, and two people play around in it. When bathing, you can see the branches of century-old trees and the green tile eaves of the courtyard. There are mountains in the distance. The moonlight shines on the pool at night, and with the dim local lights, the romantic value is directly maxed out! The Japanese log-style design of the room is very appealing to me. The large tatami is moderately soft and hard, and I don't want to get up after lying down. The 100-inch projection has super clear picture quality. At night, I nestle in the quilt with my boyfriend to watch old movies. The floor heating warms my feet and makes me feel happy! The overall design of the homestay cleverly combines Japanese wabi-sabi with Chinese courtyard aesthetics: the bamboo forest rustles outside the floor-to-ceiling window, the log grille frames the bamboo forest, and the small round window at the corner of the staircase is unique! The housekeeper service is so considerate that it is "invisible"! Before checking in, the housekeeper will set up a group to communicate the needs, and the breakfast will be delivered to the room at the agreed time. Here I have to mention their breakfast, which is excellent, with special noodles + fried fish + seasonal vegetable salad, and quality is reflected everywhere. Their home really brings the comfort and romance of couples' vacation to a new height, and the privacy is far more than that of downtown hotels. I will definitely visit it twice!
