We used this place to visit the Great Wall (Mutianyu, Panlongshan) and the Water Town. So the location for those landmarks is very convenient. The rooms are clean and bright, and have everything a traveller needs. The boss couple is very friendly and even helped us organize a cab late at night when it was freezing cold. The absolute highlight of that place is that you can order food from the boss. We never ate anywhere else during this stay. We highly missed this option during our continuous travels in China. My favorite food was the boss' self-made sausages. I tried several sausages in China and they taste not really good. Almost lost hope on Chinese sausage, but these ones here saved it!

The owners are really kind and helpful. The small hotel is not far from the wall. You can take the bus from there with 2 RMB. You can eat the hotel. The room was clean and we had everything we needed.

The room is clean and hygienic, and the mountains can be seen from the window. It is only 6 minutes by car from Gubei Water Town Scenic Spot and Simatai Great Wall. The most important thing is that the boss and the proprietress are very nice, and they feel like coming home here. The proprietress is from Chongqing, and she is good at cooking. The best dishes include stewed fish in sauce, stewed chicken with mushrooms, and homemade cakes.

The room is beautifully decorated and cleaned very clean. I saw that the bedding is changed every guest. The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic. The food is delicious and the portion is large. I will stay at his house next time.
