Really incredible location if you don’t mind a walk. The owners are incredibly friendly, pool might need a bit of attention. But if you stay here you come for the wall.

My new favourite getaway from Beijing. Walking distance to the Gubeikou Great Wall, which is a nice part still in the original unrenovated state. The owner was extremely nice and helpful!

Really nice hotel close to Panlongshan Great Wall. Charming spot, especially when the pool is open (check beforehand). Family run, very friendly owners with good food and nice coffee. Restaurant recommendation also on point. Would go again!

In the village less than 20 minutes' drive from Gubei Water Town, you can walk to Panlongshan Great Wall. On the 11th, I caught up with the boss leading a team to pick chestnuts and hawthorns on the nearby mountains. The breakfast was delicious and I will come again when I have time!

We went to the Great Wall for a walk in the afternoon. The children can also play on the swings in the yard. This homestay also has delicious coffee.
