Lovely little inn located within Sun Moon Island within the grounds of Gubei Watertown. It's a old building with a lot of charm but not really soundproof which wasn't an issue for us.
Location is very central right in the middle of the attractions. The Sun Moon Square is also where there are lots of performances and also a great spot to watch the drone show at night.
The rooms have a view of the creek but a little too far to see the great wall at night from the window which again wasn't an issue since you can just walk to other viewing spots around the water town.
Breakfast is simple but nice. We had dinner here one night and the home cooked food are delicious.
Would highly recommend to stay here for its value.

Please don’t judge a book by its cover. Most comfortable sleep I’ve had for a while, even while hearing the neighbors loud snoring! The boss is very kind and accommodating. Good food too.

The place was big surprice. Was very clean and authentic building. Breakfast was OK and staff was very friendly and cute. Location is very near of of main entertainment square.

I brought my parents to play and booked the very distinctive Wolongbao Inn. I stayed on the first floor. There was a lake outside the window, quiet and comfortable. It has all the characteristics that an old house should have. There is also direct drinking water and free mineral water. The store service is very good. I see that some people always say that the store attitude is not good. In fact, I correct it here. The store owner is mainly that kind of person, but he cares about people. My mother and I came back from shopping outside at night. The road was slippery because of the rain. The owner saw it and reminded us to be careful of the slippery road. In fact, a warm word is more useful to me than any false smile. I recommend this inn. There is also a beautiful check-in point at the door.
