Our hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from the Badaling Great Wall and 5 minutes walk from the Badaling train station.15 minutes by walking from Badaling highspeed rail.Our hotel features a traditional Chinese Ming Dynasty building style, whose features date back to over 200-500 years ago. Our hotel covers an area of over 800 square meters, with a big fruit and greens garden in the middle, surrounded by mountains, well noted for its excellent air quality, cool summer, and breathtaking views. Amazing guest house right next to the Great Wall. Perfect place to stay. Clean cosy and convenient. We did a private tour with David the owner of the guesthouse and it was very worth it and we would highly recommend it.

The owner pick up us on the Badailing Railway Station at night. And the room are clean and confortable. The distance from the Hotel is very near arround 1.2 KM..Can reach by walking to Badailing Great Wall.

Cao's Great Wall Hostel in Badaling is a sweet little hotel in a village where the owner, David, grew up. Out of an ancient courtyard compound was created the hostel along a hutong near the Great Wall. It's a small enterprise with small, immaculately clean guest rooms that have everything a traveler needs for a comfortable stay. The courtyard garden is teeming with healthy blooming plants that are tended to with much care. The neighborhood is extremely quiet with small restaurants and storefronts just down the street. David and his wife speak fluent English and they are both warm, outgoing, and eager to assist their guests. Indeed, they go out of their way to be sure you're comfortable and well taken of. From their small hotel menu, I ordered egg and tomato noodle soup for dinner and fried chicken steak with coffee the next morning. Both meals cooked by David's father were simple and delicious.
Although very close to the Great Wall, Cao's Hostel is a bit tricky to find from the railway station. David provides a video guide on how to reach it nand I found him waiting on the street for me when I finally got to the point where we turned into his village.
For a very homey stay run by a lovely family in an extremely quiet area near the Great Wall at an excellent price, I highly recommend Cao's Great Wall Hostel.

The place was great for visiting the Great Wall. They had an amazing service and were very helpful! The host send me a video on how I would get to the wall and was very accommodating. Additionally I could get some food, which was great! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Very good location, nearby S2 train. Great wall entrance is about 1km away. Host can speak good english. Room is very comfortable with enough amenities. Recommended

This is a cute tucked-in-a -corner type of hostel. Like a bed and breakfast. The room us a bit cold in December but it didnt deter me from coming back next year around August ir September. Not easy to find off the main road but following the map helps. The husband & wife team are excellent host and accomodating. I had problem ordering a taxi to Beijing and they helped me ordered a local cab within minutes. They went Abode and beyond
