This was my second stay at this lovely hotel, and it was just as perfect as the first! Tucked away in Beijing’s historic hutong area near Houhai, the hotel’s traditional courtyard design (四合院) blends classic Chinese charm with modern comfort.
If you crave an authentic Beijing experience with comfort, this is your spot. Already dreaming of my third visit!

Hotel is a heritage building which is beautiful in a hutong area. Expect a 3 mins walk out of the hutong/hotel and another 2 mins to the subway station. Within the hutong area there is quite a lot of local shops & food stalls if you decide to stay and not to venture out.
As a whole, a recommended experience to have.

The hotel stay was amazing . The staff there was great , without being ask they came and help . The place was convenient and accessible to MRT. I would go back again to stay. The bedroom was super spacious , the staff also kept the desserts for us . Friendly service and staff .

Hotel is nice and clean, and comes with digital amenities, however, not so suitable for elderly. Need to be tech savvy to use, for example there is no kettle but there is an electric water dispenser and can select the temperature of the water. As it's courtyard house concept, need to lift luggage on staircase as well but can ask the receptionist to assist. Breakfast selection is simple.
Location wise, as it's in Hutong, big car not able to drive in so have to drag luggages for about 150m from main road. Overall, it's good experience and the staff is nice and helpful. My daughter loves the AI helper, 小度。
Walking light back to hotel at night is dim as it's leverage on street light.

Really enjoy our time at the hotel! Very unique stay and cultural building! Definitely recommend first timers to stay here! The location here has a quite a big variety of food as well!! Good for first timers to try!!
The design is very traditional on the out side but modern on the inside.
Location is close to all the attractions like the National museum, Forbidden city and various city walks!
Hospitality of the staffs are very good and proactive!
Please give this unique and cultural hotel a try!
