Hotels with Bars in Beijing

The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Excellent English speaking staff adds a lot of value to a 5 star hotel in China. The Concierge Manager Jason Zhang and his team Mr Young Yang, The Guest Managers, Mr Terry Mr Koh, front liners, Rebecca, Evelyn and of course the 2 bell boys too. Mr Jason who is English speaking has gone the extra mile to help give us invaluable advice for our private local tours. Thus, Legendale Hotel Beijing is one of the best 5 star hotel that we have stayed in China.

Love the hotel so much. The front desk workers are very helpful. Everyday they’ll greet us and ask where are we going. Hotel location is super strategic and so many halal restaurants around the hotel. If you’re tired and don’t want to get out from the hotel,there’s a halal restaurant at level B1 new world mall. Btw, the hotel is attached to the mall.

The hotel's only good trait is that it's close to the forbidden city and Wangfuijing shopping district. We were checked into a totally different room than we booked. It was like getting cat fished by a hotel. The hotel is quite stingy with its amenities. Asked for bottled water at the reception, they said they're only selling. I asked them if I could get some free bottled water, but was told they'll send it to my room. I wasn't going back to my room for the bottled water to come as I was leaving. My friend asked for water from her room, they didn't agree to send some right away, but instead continued to ask if there wasn't any in her room. We were mostly unsatisfied with our stay as the room did not match at all with the pictures on the Trip app. The breakfast buffet wasn't that good, it didn't live up to its expensive cost. And the concierge basically scammed us of RMB 183 for a taxi ride to the airport from the hotel, we could see that it only amounted to RMB 65-70 to the airport from the cab's meter. It was also my friend's birthday, so I asked if the hotel offers any complimentary cakes and asked them to bring it at 6pm. They said okay, but nothing arrived at 6pm. So I called them again and they transferred me to 4 different people until someone finally understood basic English and told me that I should've asked for the cake earlier, which I did right after we checked in. The hotel's staff does not do well with communicating internally. Somehow I expected good service as it was a Novotel hotel, but was left highly disappointed.

First, I would say the location is wonderful.It's only fifteen mins of walking to the Forbidden City. However, I might not choose this hotel.The worst Manxin I had stayed. U can find other cheap hotels nearby. While I was checked in, the frontdesk asked me for paying upgrade. After I refused, he became impatient.He even didn't tell me hotel facilities. In hotel, You can smell smoke in hotel corridor.And I found a cigarette butt on lifting lobby. That means the hotel don't have a well management. The last thing I would like to complain is efficiency. My booking didn't include meal.Sometimes I ordered food delivery myself. The delivery didn't pass to me after it had been arrived 20 mins. I called to frontdesk. They just said they were busy at that moment. Would give it to me later. About 15 mins waiting, I decided to take the delivery myself. They put it on a easy take way, and didn't check wtih my room number or my identity.That means others can take my delivery easily.These happened three times. Because of this bad experience, I cannot trust Manxin anymore.

This is a a nice 😊 place. At reception they speak English very well and they were so friendly. The rooms were clean, the heater was working properly and the staff were very helpful. I will definitely come again. There is a bar, restaurant,swimming pool and a gym. The breakfast was delicious and caters for a wide variety of needs for customers. This is a nice place to visit with friends, as a couple or family

Surprisingly, this very affordable hotel can complete my trip. With very affordable price, this hotel has such a high price to value ratio. Its location is golden, right in the center of cbd. It has a very complet gym and big indoor swimminh pool. Another plus of this hotel is its club rooms. They are located in higher floor so that they will have greater view compare to the other. The club rooms also allow me to check out at 4 PM (as long as condition permitted) I can not give it 5 score because many of its employees can not speak chinese. Only a few in front office can speal basic english. This hotel really need to step up its game since i saw many international visitors during my stay. This hotel also need to educate its laundry man. He need to know the politeness standard when he want to access international visitor room. I know he means well but the way he behave make me feel uncomfortable becaise i feel he is very weird.

Didn’t like when I first checked in, haven’t touched my bed or anything but when I went out after checking in, there’s someone came in the room and “made the bed”, they put the pillows on the floor and touched the blanket. Which was scary at first as I’m not used to such service. The lady receptionists weren’t friendly at all, when I checked in and checked out, they just stood at the reception and talked to each other instead of welcoming guests. Especially when checking out, the attitude of them was bad.

Enjoyed my self so much here that I could do it all over again. I only had one problem when we had the dinner and breakfast, the restaurant staff were confused about charging our bill to our room and tried to make us pay. I was asking what was the point of us depositing the money to our room if we cannot use it. But besides that incident everything else was pleasant. Especially the lady at reception, Una. Her energy and how she treated us was amazing during check in and check out and even asked us about our stay. I would definitely come back whenever I return to Beijing. Though I complained about the restaurant (which was two ladies, one who worked at the entrance and this other one) there was also this other lady that was so helpful and even though her English was not good, took the effort to use her phone to translate in order to help us. I wish I remembered her name so that I can mention it here. And the food was also so delicious I would give 7.5/10. We unfortunately didn't get the chance to try out other facilities like the pool, spa and gym and we wish we had the time to but when we do return, we will try the pool and gym and also the spa.

Amazing! I am extremely happy with this hotel, and it has been the best so far. We will be back to stay again very soon. A++++ Very clean, amazing customer service and friendly helpful staff.
