Staff were quite helpful with the reception being manned 24/7. Hotel is conveniently located right next to the Line 2 Dongzhimen Entrance (unfortunately closed when we stayed due to ongoing maintenance). Approximately a 25min walk to Sanlitun and a 17min car ride to the Forbidden City and surrounds including Tiananmen Square. Rooms were well maintained with daily make up; maybe it was due to us checking in at midnight but we ran into some issues such as the bathroom door not working properly, maintenance crew were able to remedy it at 1am. One of the rooms I booked didn’t get cleaned in time for our check in and we were able to change rooms the following morning with no additional charges. Overall quality of the hotel is good, hotel breakfast is the best option considering food options nearby are nearly 1km away (******* takeaway is possible too). On the morning of checkout, we checked out prior to breakfast being served and the hotel were kind enough to provide us takeaway breakfast to replace our breakfast tickets for the morning. Overall 4.5/5

The decoration of the facilities can be seen to be the standard of more than ten years ago. It is definitely not good now. It should be better at that time. After all, it is listed as a five-star hotel. There, the standard should not be low either. The room is small, quite satisfactory, with no features or flaws. Ten minutes walk away from Gongti, the rooms facing north can still see Gongti, so it is a more economical and affordable place to stay if you come to Beijing as a foreigner to watch football in Gongti.

We booked this hotel for our friend’s bachelorette party. The location is right in the heart of Sanlitun, so you really can’t get a much better spot! 🤩 Only three of us slept in the room due to regulations, but the other 5 girls were able to check in as guests just for the party, and all went smoothly! The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the staff was very accommodating. We had a bit of confusion with the details of our booking, and a manager named Athena helped us sort everything out so smoothly. She made us feel welcomed, calm, and made our stay super comfortable. Fresh fruit was sent up to our room, and they accommodated us with extra champagne glasses.🥂 CHAO is such a luxurious hotel, and Athena was especially helpful and made our stay perfect. Thank you, Athena, and thank you CHAO! 💕

A very satisfying accommodation experience. First of all, the location is very good. It is very convenient to travel. There are subway lines 2 and 13, and the Airport Express takes 25 minutes to the Capital Airport. The apartment is fully equipped and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is a pleasant place for friends to gather together to chat and drink tea. The service is very comfortable, the response speed is also very fast, the restaurant is spacious and bright, and the coffee is delicious. It's pretty good. It's hard to find breakfast nearby. After staying for a few days, I went to find a breakfast shop on the first day. After bursting into tears, I basically brought breakfast back to the hotel every day. I have to say that the area around this store is not convenient enough for eating. The hotel's facilities are so-so and hygiene needs to be improved. The carpet in the room was dusty even after I stayed there for several days. The room has a window, which is better. The rest are so-so. The room is small and I still need to complain about the hygiene. It is recommended that those with sensitive skin choose carefully.

I'm very satisfied. It's very close to Tiananmen. It only takes ten minutes to get there by taxi.
